Im growing 1 northern lights plant atm with 1 23w 2700k light and 1 23w 3000k light on it 18/6. it was planted 5 days ago and seems to be going fine, i couldn't seem to find any higher kelvin lights like 5000k at any stores around where i live, is this going to cause any problems for me? i am still looking for a higher kelvin light but are these 2 lights fine for now?

I also noticed yesterday that the ends are turning brown, is this a sign of nute burn? i gave them a very diluted shot of miracle grow yesterday because i thought it might have been a nute deficiency, was this a bad idea?

You can get away with those two lights for about a month before you see the real limitations of using so few lumens. MJ needs light light light.

I don't know what kind of a budget you are working with, but why not add a cfl here and cfl there over the next few weeks, until you get about a total of at least 150 watts? That'll be enough to get you through flowering (you can keep adding them during that time, too) & provide you with enough light to produce some pretty decent buds!

Just be sure to keep temps in check if you decide to buy more lights as you grow.

I am going to LST this plant and try to keep it small and bushy, also for making a screen is it ok to use any kind of twine or rope?

i just did a lst of a NL, many ways to lst, i used string and twist ties
you may have some nute burn going on, those leaf tips look like a bit too much nitrogen(maybe)
