Need some help guys PLEASE

ok so i have a serious problem, please read this, i used to come on here but havent had time lately...so i have a 21x28" cabinet i converted to a grow cabinet. 400 watt hps (mh for veg)...so i have this CONSISTENT problem EVERYTIME. im a new grower even after many attempts, it sucks, im just missing one small thing and its fuckin my grows up...

so everytime i grow my veg seems fine and healthy, as soon as i go into flower they transition beautiful, start givin off fat white pistels, fatten up, all that.....BUT they never ever smell strong, or get very sticky, or juicy and just BAM. they are always dry to the touch, u can only get smell and stickiness on ur fingers if u really squeeze hard. i notice when i look at the mature bud when close to harvest it doesnt have as many triches as it should....

could this be something that would happen if it was really hot?? my temps are hot because i grow in a closet in my apartment, i have a small weak turbine fan i use to pull hot air out of my 400 watt cheapy HTG supply hood (i installed a glass panel), but temps are still like 99 with the door closed, light on at night...so if it is the heat then i really dont think i can use my 400 in there cause theres no way to vent in a closet in my apartemnt, its just too hot, my whole apartment is hot when i get off work, so i dont see how i can keep a cabinet the size of a shoebox cold when there is a 400 w HPS inside... could it be something other than the heat? i use FFoc light veg nutes flora nova and then flora nova bloom gradual increase, i dont over fertilize..., and then kool bloom additive at the end. although i have used kool bloom in early stage to boost flower transition time?...could using koolbloom powder at early flower fuck it up, the bag says last 3 weeks? so maybe i could try an alternative light?? how much would a small LED cost me i only have room for 2 plants at a time in the small cabinet 21x28" so would LED be alot cooler? price? size?

heres some pics of a plant i had to keep really low so i kinda lst'd it....but as u can see the buds look relatively healthy but they are bone dry, no smell or stickyness. and some dried/cured blue venom i grew that is bone dry and has no aroma, smells like grass, gets u kinda high but, its just bud with no soul....

sounds like a strain issue to me. You may just not be growing a good strain so you will keep having the same results until you try some new beans.

Sure sounds like heat to me, that cab is way too small for a 400watt with no exhaust, your cooking the goodness out of the girls bro.

I had the same thing happen when I was using a small cab like that , great veg but whispy, light buds with low smell. I really don't think it has to due with your seeds as Sug420 said, since you said it is a consistant problem. I would either go with a 250 watt or like you said led's, but they are a little pricy yet and really try to exhust some air someplace.

Yeah, I would go with too much heat.
That size cab needs a 250w and at least a 300 cfm fan. I know the fan is over-kill on what many will tell you but I think the whole cfm thing changes on micro-grows. Also, the ambient temperature has a lot to do with it.
Pesonally, I would aim to keep the 400 but in a bigger cab with a bigger fan

thanks for the input bro but its not the strain, i got some blue venom maybe a year ago and i had the same cab in the garage where it was cooler and that was the only one time where it came out ok....

well guys i got a hair up my ass sitting here frustrated last night and went on HTG supply and bought the 135 watt LED UFO light they have, 7 band, apparently it has good results for veg and bloom, low heat, i am just too frustrated, i bought it last night online at 2AM. lol, anyone ever use that one???
