Ok i have an issue..47.25" x 23.5" x 5'3" thats my dimensions of the tent. Ok this is best pic i have available(night time for the ladies right now) ill get more soon. Anyways that light only has about another 12"s at most from the top of the tent. I flipped the lights on the 19th. they were exactly a month old. they are getting bleached as you can see because they have absolutely doubled. ive done as much reading as possible on this and im still unsure on which light i should be using. ive still got the mh in as ive heard it keeps them from stretching as much and also get more trichs out. my plan was mh until i see flowers then hps. Which one should i be using? i would hate to blow this now...MH or HPS and WHY?

yeah your to close with a 4oow IMO and put your hand at canopy level to confirm the heat issues/ then raise the panel.............yeah put in the hps bulb, you can add a glass splash guard onto that fixture to help with the heat but will lose about 15% light output.......good luck grower

well do you want yield or quality????? for yield hps........better quality run mh throughout but get less IMO.... in it for profit or personal then choose accordingly

i definitely want the best of both worlds. THats why ive kept mh in so far. Im looking to encourage quality switch to hps and fattem them girls up. My problem though right now is the stretch. Im concerned about keeping these short. ive got one bleaching but i only have like 10 more inches at MOST the light can go up. So if they go up with it and bleach im fucked. I held off on the feeding(ive got good soil so i dont think they really need it just something extra). Ive actually been feeding every 5 days instead of recommended weekly. THey took it too well. SO i think ill just stop feeding for a second...
