they will show sex soon, as for the smell i have 8 plants going into week 4 of flowering they smell but not bad enough to worry about. ive had people 2 feet away from the grow room and didnt even notice. i only have a 6inch fan for exhaust from Hdepot.

for the smell .. .while vegging/early flowering.
pot heads can detect it.. i got about 14 plants..
smell comes up through the floor in a certain spot....
non pot heads can mistake it for other things ... did you just paint ?

Nope still preflowers or the start of new shoots.... The good thing is.. This far into flower without balls or lil grape looking like things below ur preflowers may just mean u have females shorty...99 percent of the time if ur going to get a male they will get these balls before ur females get the 2 lil small hairs coming out of the calyxes....Scroll up to my pic...notice the preflowers and shoots im talking about just below there is a calyx with 2 tiny pistels which means shes a female...Grape like balls with pistels means its a hermie... The fact ur so far along in flower with no presex may mean u have females.... Sorry no pix left of the males dunno why wish i had one for u to cross reference.... Very nice and healthy looking by the way!

AWESOME did u figure out how to fix that thing ya screwed up? THat would suck im sure tops are interchangeable tho right? Lol thats something id do. Sorry u had to work on sunday.
i love working on the weekends. i usually drive to the shop pick up the orders and stuff and come back to my place and airbrush. rarely do i go over there and do the work. he has another girl who hates me over there. anywho i asked the guy if he was sure he wanted that pic and i suggested the geisha to him. i told him i really wanted to do the piece batted my eyes and gave him a discount then he said yes. ha! i lost oput on some cash but its all good.

You know, I am also doing the same thing! I decided on Sage, Lavender, and Muscari Armeniacum, myself. I have big plans for the Lavender. I am hoping that a full row in a window box will produce enough flowers to do it. I planted Basil and Tarragon, but those last are not quite for the smell. I've never grown the jasmine, but I was wondering if you were ever thinking of doing your aromatics in DWC as well?
I just kind of jumped on in, but I have to say, Netpirate, your journey as a grower is and has been impressive. From the nuances of hydro, which will forever elude me, to the particulars of CFL and HPS use. That is a lot to learn and the learning is obvious in those plants. They look great and good secondary growth too! Congratulations! Sadly, I am a novice grower myself and can only offer my support.
What was the deciding factor that made you choose hydro over soil? simpler? more interesting? less messy? better roots?
first off thank you for noticing me. its always appreciated with me.
as for the aromatics masking those plants will be soil based grow. small scale around the room. who knows. i might even put a hole into the wall.
one day i woke up and decided to go grow hydro. think it may have been a dream i had..
im so blown right now so excuse my rambling.

First off sexy avitar!!! Second since you are a DIY I would look into building a carbon scrubber just in case the idea of adding other plants to the grow to cover smell doesn't work. Personaly there is no way some other plant would cover up the smell of my baby! NO WAY! But that is just the genetics of my plant, obviously it would depend on your plant. Good luck and your plants are looking good. I will cross my fingures in hopes of females for you!
