ok so if i where to get a tent that is 75cm x 75cm x 1.6m, what kind of light would be the best? would i ned a cool tube? what watt would be good enuff?

a 400 watt HID would be fine but a cool tube probably wouldn't be necessary with proper ventilation

would that light use alot of power? im currently using a pc case for my first grow but i have decided that it aint big enuff, this case uses hardly any power as its only a 125 watt and 3 12v pc fans

the light would use approximately 3.2 times more than the one you're using now.

cfl's work alot better in small spaces, more efficient , cheaper running costs but it takes more skill to pull as much yeild. you could put a HID in there, but whats the climate like where you live?

well im in the uk so the climate aint that hot, but it has its days lol, cant wait to get a proper grow on the go as i am bored with the pc one already, its just far to small

well your not really gunna be able to fit more than 8 small plants in that tent but a cool tube 400w hps would probably be alright as long as you have enough ventilation, could probably fit a 600w in there. but surely if your gunna grow now your goin to flower right in the middle of summer?
