need tips on flowering early

I am growing 4 plants outside, started a month ago. So far they are almost a foot tall. I grew outside bc I didn't have the capital to start an indoor setup. I only want them to grow to 3ft, since I have neighbors along my fence. Is there a way to make them flower early when I want, and not have them growing taller then 3ft? Should I bring them inside into a dark place at night?

Any advice appreciated.

they need about 12 hours of darkness each night to flower.. but that would get kinda old bringing them in everynight
if your worried about getting caught why not just grow them somewhere off your property.
search these LST, Scrog, HST

But if I bring them inside for 12hrs every night, it would work? I don't want to grow them off my property, because I don't want to chance someone stealing it..plus our frost is in 2-3 months and they need to flower early anyway.

I am currently bringing 1 in at night its a hassle but you'll adapt to it fairly easy i bring them in at 630 pm and take them back out as soon as its dark its working great so far no problems. You just have to commit yourself and not forget, i prefer this method over all the other force flowering methods. Good luck on the grow.

hey if it works go for it.. i couldnt do that or at least i dont think i could because of the street lights that shine but its getting pretty close for my outdoor plants to start flowering anyways. mine are way in the woods.. i would rather someone steal them than to get caught with them
good luck

Thanks. I was going to bring them inside at 7pm, keep them in a dark closet, and put them outside at 7am.
that would work but i find it easier to take them back out at dark so i dont have to do it so early in the morning, and so it can have the natural breeze at night time. but if you have proper ventilation it will work.
