Need to harvest early - what potency can I expect?

A technician needs access to my grow area for a service job within the next 14 days. I have to finish my grow op early. Today it’s 51 days since I changed the light cycle to 12-12. I observed the buds with a pocket microscope. There are no clear trichomes left. Most of them have a milky pale colour, some of them are a little blurrier and darker. Normally I would wait at least another 2-3 weeks before harvest.

Suppose I harvest next weekend. Of course the yield would be lower, but what about the potency? Would it be as potent as usual, only more trippy and no couch lock?

Yeah you better cut that down stat. That's a huge cluster of pollen sacks there waiting to seed the whole plant. At least cut the male cluster out if you're going to wait any longer.

Sucks you can't finish it. No one will be able to tell you what the high will be like. All I know is it won't be as good as it could have been. Better then getting busted though ,heh?

Shit I missed that cluster, only the camera can see the bud from that angle. Thanks for telling me Schmarmpit!!

Yes, I will harvest next weekend. Like you and Shmarmpit says, it's not worth the risk getting busted.

Last harvest I found a few pollen sacks like this one (picture). I thought it was triggered by light or some kind of stress in mid- or late flowering. This time I have been very careful not to disturb the light cycle and I have checked PH, EC and temperature every day. Still a pollen sack so perhaps it's time to find another motherplant.

Also it would be interesting to make oil from this harvest and compare it to oil from the same strain but harvested when most of the trichomes was amber.
