ok so i believe this is the start to my 6th week of flowering unknown bagseed(came out of some really crappy mids but is looking pretty damn good so far).. i vegged it for 5 weeks and lst'd. her fan leaves have been yellowing then browning then dying off since before she started flowering.. im sure she wont have any left by harvest.. but all the other leaves are turning purple... from the inside out even some of the calyxes are starting to turn purple... its really alot more purple in person the pics dont really tell it but i need to know if this is strain, temp or other issue related temps get about 83ºf during lights on and about 60ºF at night but have dipped as low as 56º on 1 occasion i believe.. the main stalk of the plant is starting to get purple stripes on it as well..

it could be the cold, or i think Phosphorus def causes purpling of the leaves- i think lockout of P is caused by low temps as well

im pretty sure its your low temps at night, i had some bagseed grow late last year when it was cold out and all my plants turned purple and smelt like hotdogs lol! i dont think its doing harm but i could be wrong.

this could be do to the temps droping out of the plants normal range i konw when i grow outdoors when the temps start to get cooler my plants tent to get this purple hue try adding a small heater at night if the plant continue to do this check the ph or check ph first to make sure they are an ok level and nothing is getting locked out by salt build up

the bud smells really dank and is getting very frosty and its pretty dense aswell... the purple actually makes the bud look awesome up close hope its not detrimental

Holy crap. I just posted the same one an hour ago. We came up with salt build up as I had been feeding plenty of bloomfood. I'm flushing with distilled and then refeeding.

if temps drop P lockout can occur and mixed with feedings salt build up will occur

alkalinity also locks out P. check your ph, and lower it to under 7, if above. 6.5 would be better. wet feet will also do it. make sure you are well drained. i use sulfur worked into, and watered into the soil to lower ph. more than one app may be necessary.

The pattern is almost identical and I don't have cold temp problems. This one is a long flowering sativa going into 10 week and will probably go 13-14. I've been upping the nutes until now

sorry but thats not identical. actually that looks not much at all like what mine looks like... forget the pics i posted... almost all the leaves on all the buds are starting to turn a uniform purple color including some of the calyxes on the buds which i am almost certain is either temp or strain related becase it just looks like it is supposed to be there lol the only part thats ugly is the yellow leaves that are trying to turn purple.. ewww... ph is right around 6.4 i am using earth juice which is 100% organic and according to the bottle doesnt have salt build up and doesnt even require flushing before harvest.. i have started feeding her black strap unsulphured molasses at 1 tablespoon per gallon.. should i stop giving earth juice and just give molasses for the next 2 weeks? then stop all feedings except plain water for the last week or two?

could some EPsalt do the trick or will the MG interfer with it mixing?

Just popped into the deficiency and abundance thread... this is what i read about phosphorus

"Deficiency: Didnt i go over this? slow growth! slow leaf growth, slow root growth, slow germination of seeds, slow bud production, the edges of eaves will be brown. Even fan leaves, the plants solar cells, will be affected by this, turning them to a dark green, purple and blue color. (not the kind of purple you want.)
*Deficiency of this can be caused by low temperatures - below 50F/10C"

which the temps have never gotten near 50ºF they have never gotten below 58 but on 1 occasion. and the pictures posted on that thread do not look like the leaves im seeing on mine

i guess maybe i should cut out the nutes and go with plain water? or should i just flush with 6 gallons of water and then refeed? or am i too close to harvest?

Sorry, I was just going off that first row of pics you posted. If it's near the bud and looks more natural...see the SLH from an older grow in my avatar...then it is probably temps/strain
