it said to add half a pound as indicated. I have a 10 gallon air roots pot.
Half pound relative to how much water, and how much water did you mix it with?

Whoever gave you that advice doesn’t know jack about growing.
Your only hope is to get them out of that salted medium immediately. They may already be beyond recovery.

All done - also flushed it with 8 L of water. Used shop vac.
