Im barely going to start my first grow, will be groing just one plant and will be using cfls only. I have been reading but have not found these questions answered Is it possible to grow and harvest bud just by usein cfls? And if so what wattage is good for seedling, veg, and harvest? And how many bulbs for seedlimng, veg, and flowering? Please help.!

Yeah people do it all the time, you wont yield much. Just get as many of those fuckers you can growing in your area, 2700 for flowering, 6500 for vegging. Or just do a mix spectrum of both all the way through. I've never heard of anyone going overboard with too many CFLs.

Duel Spectrum CFL off ebay ect. They are a single CFL bulb with two separate tubes. They look like a regular large CFL, but the two independent tubes provide both blue and warm light. about 25-$30 for a 100watt.

Thank you guys for the help. Also wanting to knpw how far away to have the lights during seedling, veg, and flowering.?? Thanks again for taking your time reading this and aswering questions.
 
Keep the lights 1-2 inches away at all times. The amount of lumens lost any further are significant.

and don't listen to people telling you that you'd be better off buying MH or HPS or whatever. Just do what you know and what you can afford. CFLs can make great plants and great buds.

Thanks! Appreciate the support and help. So keep da light 1-2 inches threw all the stages? Even flowering?
