Neem in flower mode?

Neem oil is a natural plant derivative. I have put neem on buds that were farther along than that. I use up until 3 days before harvest. If your light is to close, move it up. You don't need to turn off the light. Do spray at least two hours before lights out. VV

not knowing exactly what brand of neem oil your using...
i would recomend taking the time to read the packaging and directions of application on the label..

as far as i can see i agree with the above poster... but not knowing what other things are in the mixture your using.. i would check with that.. it should say something about use on vegatables and fruit... or flowers... i would put bud in a closer proximity to the vegatable or fruit catagory.. (i know its a flower) but you usually dont eat or smoke or otherwise consume snapdragons.. lol...
if your not sure how to figure out the label.. (i used to hold a PA commercial pestiside applicators licence) ill give it a shot at helping you out if you can either post the name brand of the product, the companys name who made it, and their website...

i dont need all of that.. but the more i have to start with.. the more i can help you...

i say no! spraying buds makes them a easy target for mold, and the neem i used left a film and a smell, if you didnt rinse you plant, and since your 5 weeks in, i woulnt want any water or neem that close to harvest

the pesticide database (PAN) on the toxicity of pyrethrum:

PAN Product Info for Pyrethrum 1% solution

neem is a much safer way to go and it works efficiently on thrips and mites. i would spray with some heavily diluted (like a tsp./quart) of dr. bonner's eucalyptus oil liquid soap as well and then about ten days before harvest, just lightly mist with distilled H20, especially the buds.
