Guys i made a schoolboy error i put the extractor on 12/12 shes on 24/7 now with a couple smellies in the room all seems well fingers crossed for the next 5 week lol
If you totally seal the room in plastic and duct tape, have the proper fresh air inlet sized to exhaust, exhaust being pushed through a good carbon filter, with a slight negative pressure...you will have control of smell and humidity. You can add or remove humidity as needed. Unless you are very lucky with a tightly built room, without sealing it, even the charcoal filter will not help you. I did a room where the intake was not large enough. When the exhaust/filter fan was on, the room plastic literally started to implode from the suction.
Tip, get lots of beer/pop cases and cut into one inch squares. Use them when stapling the plastic to the walls. It will stop the plastic from tearing through the plastic and causing collapse issues.

Carbon filters, regardless of brand, are only good for 6-to-12 months (dependent on humidity and temperatures -- plus some strains are just smellier than others). Replace your filter and seal the adjoining wall with sheet plastic a good as you can and you should be good to go. And above all else, STAY PARANOID!!!! Trust no one when it comes to your horticultural activities! That's how folks like us stay free!!!
