Do you have some traps out? In a small glass, fill it halfway with warm water, a teaspoon of sugar, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 2 drops of dish soap. keep it topped off with water as it evaporates.

Yes I have yellow sticky’s and my pails with airstones in them. The pails have collected quite a few gnats.
My question is does it matter if I spray more toeds on compost or over the mycelium. Or if I add compost over what I’ve sprayed. Thx.

nope, this is going to be one of those things that will take a bit of time for the nematode population to get active and hungry. Give it some time they will. If you want something a little faster can always try Gnatrol. It will kill them all dead. Some place talk about rove beetles. If you do those make a beetle home for them.

Nematodes

Also known as roundworms.
Organic methods (2) heat the soil 140°F. French marigolds will repel them also. One more method PYRETHRIN /soil drenching.
I've not one problem ever with these insects or worms. Laugh at that dude. My age and experiences is why. It definitely has alot to do with agriculture, not cannabis. Although it does apply to cannibis and every plant on Earth. Disrespect from y'all, your LOSS not mine.

Here's what i don't get:

So, if you fight "bad" bugs with "good" bugs, how do the "good" bugs just vanish and not end up in your end flower? Also, bugs eating other bugs gotta shit somewhere, right? Do the "good" bugs AND their excrement just magically vanish in week 9 flower?

You eat bugs and poop all the time, so who cares if you smoke a few, lol?
