New Aeroflo2 60 Grow! Started from the ground up! Lots of Pics!!

Smokey- should I go down to 67 even though I am still germinating technically? I have the room temp at 75 and no dehumidifier turned on yet BTW.

OK check it out this room is a good example. I used 5 gallon pots in roots organic soil and used nothing but the bio thrive grow, bloom and the cal-mag PH'd at 6.5. No other additive BS at all nothing. But these were all seeds starts vegged for 3 weeks. The 2 far left rows are Speed Queen from Mandala seeds (I give that strain a B) The middle 2 are Power Kush from Dinafem seeds (I give that strain a A) the second from the right row is White Rhino from Nirvana seeds (I give that strain a c+) and furthest to the right row was Mendocino Madness from THseeds (I give that strain a F- absolute complete dog shitt.. I will never buy another seeds from that company its the 5th strain ive tried from them that came out nothing like the description and it was just completely shitty. Not only are their seeds super over priced Im pretty sure they just go through kilos of mex brick weed and pick out seeds and just sell those with a fancy label, there no was any respectable grower would breed those strains on purpose. But anyways as you can see the plants are just super healthy not a deficient leaf in the whole bunch.. even the crappy strain.

haha love the mex brick lol Yea they all look good for sure! What do you think about my water temp for the germination? 70's ok? or should I go cooler?

well when your sprouting in soil I know they say to keep the temps between 70-75 and when you clone in the ez they suggest around 70 degrees too so anything in that lower 70s range would be fine im sure

i think you'll be fine with the lil seedlings..but when they go in the aeroflo you want those water temps down to 67˚

what are you gonna need the dehumidifier for?

Jake- Yea i know that when you do it the normal way.. in a dome or in a rooting cube, they say between 70 and 90 for best results. But using an aeroponic type system I have no Idea.. Starting to think I may have been better off with clones. Just wanted to make sure I had good genes

Smokey- For sure! Until I get a water chiller (which I talked to the wifey about yesterday ) I will just spend extra time with water bottles or RO ice to keep the temps nice and cool for the girls. As for the dehumidifier, Using the aero system, the humidity can get up to like 70% RH. The dehumidifier is hooked into the sentinel controller and during veg/flower I'll have it set to keep it around 45-50 RH. I will also have that draining into the sink so I dont have to worry about emptying that res.

UPDATE:

Checked on my babies this morning and they seem to be doing fine. Current temp was 77, pH 6.1, ppm was 30. I forgot to plug in the pump 2 days ago when I left them for the evening and because of that, the small roots dried and the big ones curled and almost dried out. I plugged back in and hoped for the best. They all seem to be doing well right now and still growing.. I will take some pics of them tonight and post! Stay tuned..

ok so the seeds popped out from the neoprene in the ez clone and the roots on some are 5+ inches long. Most of them are yellowish though.. only 1 is green.. The water is 78, pH is 6.2 and the ppm was 30 until I added a little bit of nutes to bring it up to 30 because the stem was a slight purple. DONT LET MY BABIES DIE... help me!!!

the water temp seems a bit high...but ive never started from seed in the easy cloner.. i wouldnt use any nutes yet either..just plain r/o water.

im sure they will be fine tho.

Yeah they def look like they need a little nutrients. I guess when you put clones in those machines they arent really trying to grow there just trying to root plus they have a little stored up nutrients in their leaves already so that keeps them decent for a week or 2 but seed starts on the other hand have roots already and are trying to grow and have very very very little amounts of stored up nutrients. Just my theory on why your seeing such premature yellowing . But I would go easy with the nutes at first you can always add more, maybe give them a 1/4 or half strength at first.

Hey guys thanks!! I put the ppm up to about 90-110. Less than a quarter strength just to give them a little something. I plan to switch the water in about 3 hours to straight RO and maybe some nutrients.. Roots are getting long!! Im posting pics now from like 10 minutes ago!! HELP ME!! LOL

I moved all of the seeds without large roots into the dome!Here are some pics of the seedlings that have sprouted! Here are the roots under the ez clone. they look healthy in my opinion... PLEASE DONT LET THEM DIE Help Meeeee

does the added ppm seem to be helping?

cant really tell.. i just switched out the water.. back down to 30 ppm 74 degrees and 6.3 pH I've never started with seeds so I'm not sure I know how they are suppose to look.
