New Aerogarden...germinate fine then die

Just got the aerogarden. Germinate the plants in paper towell and transfer to seed pods. No nutrients yet. Seeds grow for about a week in the aerogarden, then die...what am I doing wrong. Could my growing area be getting too hot? Have changed conditions in growing area and added a small fan for circulation...any other ideas?

Are they starving to death?
pH?
Heat?
Bad Water?

the key here, is HOW DO THEY DIE?
Do they turn brown?
Do they get soft and wilt?
Do they have holes/weird shit in them?

Make sure you re-fill the AG with good quality water(Filtered or sat for 24hrs), your PH is fine, and it's not too hot in the room
