Hi all, first time posting here. I recently got an AG and have 3 seeds germinating as we speak, actually just saw my first tiny sprout this morning (WooHoo). I am pleased to see the success that people are having with the AG. This is my first time growing with the AG, have always done soil or ebb & flow grows with HPS and MH lights before. But im not trying to grow as much as I once did, have gotten a little older and wiser ;-).. I want to commend you black on your success of your first grow, you might want to study up on pruning techniques for you next grow to keep it short and bushy. But I'm sure you know that now... My question for the guru's out there is, how can I keep the pump going 24/7? Should I just invest in a secondary pump and an air rock, or is there a way to bypass the timer on the AG?

Welcome ChristX! Congratulations on your first grow, I'm also using an Aerogarden, started about a month ago! Feel free to check out my journal :)

You can keep the pump going 24/7 in the AG by putting it on the "Salad Greens" setting. That being said, you should also invest in a secondary pump and an air rock; it increases growth substantially, oxygenates the water, and helps prevent root rot.

Nice job bro! I would keep that strain around if you can since it's kicking out resin that early in flower and from my experience that means she's going to be frosty! Thats how all my really frosty strains look when they start out...

Just out of curiosity, are aerogrows limited to autoflowering strains or can any strain be grown using say the aerogrow deluxe?

hey guys sorry for no updates, but ones coming soon, i just got over a mini crysis lol the leaves started falling off and what not and i got really paranoid.. but i believe its normal?? , 3finger i'm not growing an autoflower strain. i think as long as you top your plants properly early on you can grow anything.. just dont grow too many at once,

I'm going to post some new pictures tonight.. but i have a few questions .. A. In flowering is it normal for the fan leaves, foliage leaves to yellow and fall off?? B. in the pics im uploading the entire stem is fine, minus one brownish patch at the middle node site.. This worries me.. and the plant isint drinking water. it hasnt drank any of the water ive put in there at all.. ive left the airstone going 24/7 as well to try and ward off any unwanted water problems. any ideas?

How many weeks has it been in flowering? I heard many strains die off after a certain time once it hits the flowering mode. Do you think looking at the size of the buds, the plant has much more to grow or its basically done growing? I hope everything turns out well. Those buds look fucking ridiculously delicious!! =D! GOOD WORK! KEEP US POSTED!

IF you notice tht they were drinking so much water, daily, and then quit all together, they are experienced Nute Lockdown. or pH Lockdown. You need to drain it, use only water for half a day, then go back to water and food.

Nutritional Lockout
Allow us to GIVE you a simplified definition of NUTRIONAL LOCKOUT.
Can you imagine sitting a plate before a child at dinner time, with his most favorite food, hot dogs, ketchup and french fries? But also on the plate is a major portion of steamed broccoli, which he is just not fond of and insists on nibbling on. Now imagine telling that child, "you can not eat the hot dog and fries if you do not eat all the broccoli too". NUTRITONAL LOCKOUT is when the child responds with "well then, I just won't eat!"
It also becomes apparent when your plants were consuming a gallon or half gallon of water every day, and then suddenly when you check the levels the next day, they did not drink any water at all. This is NUTRITIONAL LOCKOUT.

In flowering, it is normal for the lower fan leaves to start yellowing and dying away.
