New Areo System - 1st run

Set up a new aero system and am starting flower (@2weeks in). I'm getting some brown roots and yellow/curling leaves - photo attached. I turned my feed timer down from 1 minute every 15 to 1 min every 25. Can anyone suggest anything else to get my roots healthier?

I am using techniflora nutes adding pirahana for roots.

are you using hygrozyme? its very necessary in aero/hydro applications to keep your root system clean. It looks like you might have some brown slime developing and sm90 or h202 might not be doing the trick (at least it never did for me).

Did try the H202 knowing it will kill my beneficial bacterias but it didn't do much. Going to try Sensizyme but damn expensive for a 300 gal res.

What is sm90?? never heard of it.

I've often though about using hygrozyme, i hear its the bomb in dwc growing.

sm90 is a root disease inhibitor but its derived from oils and works better in my opinion as a foliar spray to kill bugs. It doesnt have the microbial qualities you get from hygrozyme. to be honest with you, advanced nutrients is an expensive line of nutrients that works no better than general hp or botanicare but costs a ton more because of their reputation. I would stick with hygro, it costs like 23 bucks for a bottle that will treat a 300 gal res. i use it from start to flush, its a necessity for hydro growing. its also compatible with low ppm's of h202 as well, but i don't know how much you've been using and would change out the res just to be safe
