the solis tek matrix ballast that im getting has a built in timer. Ive owned the sentinel chhc-4 for my last setup. Parted ways with the last setup and am basically starting from scratch. The sentinel DEC-4 (digital enviromental controller) basically is the new version on the env-2. It does the basics, digitally monitors day/night temp and day/night humidity and controls co2 on a timed control(makes life easier ;). So i would plug my exhaust fan or ac into the cooling input. heater in the heat input, and a humidifier or dehu in the humidity input. there is also a co2 control function but its more of a timed thing vs. digital ppm control which the big brother sentinel chhc-4 has. all in all there identical other than diff in co2 control. As i am not running co2 theres no need to spend 2 times more to run co2.
my Matrix is a PITA.Trying to find bulbs that It won'e E-04 out on you suxxxxxxxx. So far it will light the bulbs I have no but not if I split to to 6003 via their splitter.I'm ditching that pig and getting the regular ST -1000

Coco and canA is the best- I love an but if your going coco go with cana if your doing a.n. the clay balls are the best. I've quite hydro like everyone else from where I'm at has but man those yields are great. Get the h1 h2 form a.n. it helps put a little flavors in the hydro buds

Yeah I've ran canna before but with rockwool and it did great, and pretty much tried all of them and wanted to try something new. The h1 and h2, are you talking about the organic additives?

Great stuff.

I used Big Bud and then Overdrive, as they are designed to
dove-tail (weeks 2-4 vs. 5-6) perfectly. I also use their B-52.

It sounds like you have your poop in a group. :0)

went online to there nutrient cal, and seen what they recommended, I should run 1/4 that in the beginning and half all the way through? Only got the 500ml additives so need to make it stretch. Hand watering was thinking of doing 5 gal batches. Will be running 9 or 6 in 5gal equivalent air pots.

I may start off slow with young seedlings or clones, but I go
full power pretty soon after getting going.

I will start testing tapering off the nutes when I figure things out.

Good luck,

I think that the h1 h2 are organics but not sure. Other co. Make humic and folics I just like the ph adjusted a.n. and it's results that you can see

Yeah the ph perfect was the main reason I ran AN this run. The 3 part has wet betty and some other stuff in it. Either way it was like $120 for 4L GMB. And I can use it during veg also. Was going to originally run AN conny and than was gonna have to buy the sensi grow. The 3part killed 2 birds with one stone.

Do I have to run calmag when running ro water w/ an? So I would mix calmag first to get my ppm to like 180. Than the micro, grow, bloom, than addatives.

Second run with AN - I run my veg near full strength, and tweak the hell out of it for flower. I figure out ppm's then hit about 60% three times a week. I replaced the voodoo with Roots Excellerator. The Voodoo has mostly water - 98% water. Quite a few products in the AN line up that are not needed, the one that is needed is Carbo Load. I used the whole line up to begin with - PH perfect Conne, grandmaster as money was not an issue - the products NEEDED for quality grow with AN are - A, B, Carbo Load, Big Bud, B52, Rhino and Budfactor X. Can use the rest with no noticed yield/flavor change. Will run more in the future with these additives but for now getting superb results with just what I listed - O, must add the House n Gardens Roots Excellerator though, liquid gold.
Don't know about the cal-mag, only have someone use it when they had deficiencies.
I have read that I start with adding the highest N values first, then the rest? Any truth to this? This is how I've been running and great results.
AN are getting rather inexpensive to run as opposed to a year ago now.. good stuff man!

Ok cool yeah I have ran roots excel and it's the shit. Didn't get it this time around, will be running 3 part base, voodoo juice, rhino skin, bud candy, big big, b52, over drive. Should get good results with this.

I calmag the hell out of mine I use gh organics and a non organic two out of three waters so organic non organic then none repetitive w/ro. I don't like to use high ppm it will kill all the beneficial stuff I like growing in mushrooming cultures loaded with life

Ok so got the ro installed and tested

Reading straight off tap:
1.0 EC
7.9 PH
530 PPM (500 scale)

Reading with stealth ro:
.1 EC
9.4PH
0 - 30 PPM (500 scale)

measurement taken from small glass cup, was curious as to why my ph is that high after running through the ro?
