New Blackstar135W UFO LED Grow

I'm doing a SOG wise run to try my new LED light and of course the concept of this light being an old HPS user. I've got a stealth closet setup (2x2') with a single 135W LED light from Gotham Hydroponics, this units measure an output of 290 PAR watts and 12000 Lux. Time will tell about yield and quality, so far so good.

Medium is DWC and the plant is suppoted by hydroton, temps can get up to 80°F in the closet so I used Coolers instead of Pots to keep my water temps in range (70-75°F)

Nutes: GH Flora Line (Lucas Formula) + Additives
5ml/Gal Micro
10ml/Gal Bloom
3ml/Gal Grow
3ml/Gal Calmag Plus
10ml/Gal Hygrozyme

PH: 5.8 - 6.1 (adjust back), Res change ounce a week

Foliar Feeding: Neem Oil, ounce a week

Strains:
Super Lemon Haze from GHS (long flowerer)
White Widow from Dinafem

within a week:
Anesthesia from Sannies Shop

In two weeks
New Blue Diesel from Sannies Shop

Temps: Max 72°-80°F
Relative Humidity: Max 68%, Min 45%

Objective: 2 Oz out of 1 plant every 2-3 weeks.

WEEK 1:

Week 2: Same nute regiment

Thinking about topping the SLH and tie down the branches in the road.. She's growing too much!. Would like an opinion about this because I'm thinking it could get worst instead

UPDATE: 24/01

1.- I did top the SLH, if she wants war well bring it on! I have my sizzlers and ties ready



2.- Added Blue Diesel today; I took the clone from a mother that was already flowering, I gave her 3 weeks to clone and revert but doesn't look quite reverted she has white pistils growing everywhere so I'll keep a close eye in case she hermies or stunts. She had a very rough transplant as I brought her in a water bag like a fish from a friend's grow, Lets see how she recovers...



3.- White widow showed sex, so it's week one from today for her

Turns out my cord was bad wired and the leds remained slightly on while night time. Dunno how much this will delay flowering, maybe the whole 2 weeks!! SUCKS. Nevertheless plants are growing excellent, had my SLH tied down.

Week 3

SLH got Toped and Tied, she's growing 8 colas so far all at the same height.. I added a 85W 2700K CFL and a 38W 6200K CFL just for her and left the blackstar for the ww and Blue Diesel which is not doing fine so far. Had a bad Hanna tester so I had to somehow measure PH by color leaves, it was nice to get a reading of 6.0 with my new blue lab in the old solution! anyhow Hanna replaced it and the crap seems to work ok, so I hope BD develops a nice root system this week if not she's out.



Btw I also Have all this strains growing HPS so I can taste the difference:WW Flipped on 12/26/2011 @ Week 3 FloweringI had A light leak (from my Blackstar, Actually a bad grounded wire) I wanted to compare maturation speed but will have to wait for next round

Well I wanted it to be straight from clone to 12/12 but I had a light leak that definitely made the transition phase take a week longer. Right now I believe I'am in the second week of flowering for WW and first of transition for SLH, so basically yeah I'm tiding her SCROG wise but I'm thinking the screen should be more fun as I've never done it and she's growing like mad anyways..btw had to add a CFL because I can afford the SLH to stretch much longer, if the WW yields like it should I'll get 3 more lights and blast my area.

Although this my 4th week using LED, I had a major light leak that set me back to week one of flip, I'm entering the second one and the growth rate is awesome so far. LED have proven me to grow better plants than MH or HPS, Flowering is the challenge this month!

I already flipped mate, ww is finally growing pistils out of the bud sites, she'll fill for sure, I'm very interested as well on the results. I'm pulling the trigger on another light as the 120w CFL rises my temps by 5°! And the plant is reaching for the LED light anyways... So this far I don't really care if they flower well, this lights are perfect for vegging and transition- Now, if the WW yields more than 2 oz, I'll get 4 of them to blast the 2x2 area, and put them against any HGL Penetrator out there for less than half the price.
