6 - 6.5 liter Pots

4" exaust/intake Fan x2
4" carbon filter + hanging kit
5m Ducting
5sq/m Mylar
Total Black out
PH tester
10ml Syringe

Seeds x12
Sensi, Northen Lights x3
Serious, AK-47 x3
De Sjamaan, White Widow x3

Seeds

Well here is the grow space, its out the back of my house and looks like the ideal place to start my first grow.

Outside View

Inside

So i started with lining the walls with Total black out which will keep all light out then abit of mylar.

Here is it with the mylar fitted.

Here is my carbon filter (still to be connected) + electric set up.

This is the door to the outside, this side is duck taped up and the other side is not.

Here is the growing area, with 6.5 Liter pots, there is space to spread them out so i will do as they grow.

Thermoeter + humidity meter on wall.

The Grow will start in mid september, so will be creating a grow journal too :hump:.

I have also orderd another fan to bring air into the grow room.

Any questions or advice would be good.

Peaceeeeeee :peace::peace:

Nice job man I am really impressed. Good job on doing it right, too many times I have seen people not give their grow areas enough planning. Keep us updated!

Hey man, I have a really great idea for you...

So,,, I know that you want the door to
1.) Be light proof, and
2.) The interior of the closet to be reflective

I see how you are doing it and although a decent idea, you would be way better off taking down the white poly in the room as well as the mylar, and get yourself a can of flat white basement sealer.
Paint the interior of the closet, and the back of the door. Use the poly to back the door and make a light curtain. Not in the room...

White reflects 99% of light, and although you can see yourself in mylar, it is no more reflective then a pure white wall.
Why would you do this?>

1.) You won't have all that plastic lining in your room that can fall on your light catch fire! Burning down the building and getting you busted
2.) Covering the interior of the closet in white paint/basement sealer will seal any crack that my harbor mold spores or let in unwanted humidity, depending the climate your in, sealing the walls keeps shit out.
3.) This way you can spray out the closet with a bleach solution to clean the space before you start.
4.) Mylar in close quarters can cause light spots, (this is when there are wrinkles in the mylar from you installing it, cases burn marks on your plants from the light becoming magnified by the wrinkle)

I really hope you take everything out and try this.... it is a really good idea.

i just noticed u got the cheap wing reflector...i did the same thing on my first hps i purchased...its a pain in the ass having to deal with the heat they put off. i run 2 blower fans and still have heat issues because of it. If u get a chance i would get a aircooled reflector, it will make life a hell of alot easier.

**edit**
on second thought, since ur only using a 250w hps is really shouldn't matter.
you could of gotten a 400w or 600w for just barely more. i run two 600s and thats probably why i have issues with heat at times.

nice keep us update wld like to c how u go

Will do mate, the blackout white pvc lining kept falling down, cause of the crap surface i was sticking the duct tape too. so today i got carboard and nails and nailed it up, so its not going to fall down anymore!

i will set up the ventilation tomorrow, so will post some more pic's.

Basement sealer can go on anything. Brick, exc .
The tape job just looks shady is all man....
The mylar when it gets hot and moist in there is gonna fall down, plus the air movement will pull off duct tape... U ever see a sheet of mylar hit a HPS? POOOOOOF

yeah it was awqward putting it up myself but i think i may get rid of the mylar, and just use the white sheeting.

The nails will hold it up, i wont be starting until september so if the nails hold it up till then i will be positive on it holding.
