man i want to, but im trying to hold off from doing that. its funny, i started picking "test buds" at day 70 on new bean, my last grow and smoked up half the plant, ive done good this time, LoL. i might pick 1 from the lower branches on each plant and test them out over the weekend.

ahah i get it. what type of smoking devices you use? and are you a constant smoker when you have it? When i pulled testers from my last grow. i made sure to pack snappers (1 hitters)

well i dont smoke like i use to, i take a couple hits from the bowl or off a joint and im good for a few hours, LoL. i will use the wooden bowl in the pic to test the buds. here are the 2 small buds i just picked, there only about the size of a half dollar, molly on the left and 2-1 on the right

everything is looking good CD!! those clones will be ready for you like the plan you laid out earlier. keep them scissors handy, bout time to cut some more clones!!!

Bro i think it's time to invest in a glass piece. You have a nice selection, but once you get glass you notice the difference. Bong on the left and a natural percolator on the right. I pack a snapper in the perp and i am good for 3-4 hours.

i wouldnt try and take more clones from molly, they may be too far along in flower to reveg and root at the same time. you could put molly back into veg, gradually raising the lighting up from 12/12 to however high you run your vegging light schedule. but revegging takes more time.

you should be fine to take some clones from the clones in about a week. you could do Uncle Bens topping technique and your left with a pretty big hunk of plant that makes a good clone. just wait till you have 5 or 6 nodes, then cut right above the 2nd node. that leaves enough plant for 3-4 nodes, and a top. trim the branching from the bottom two nodes and bury the plant 1/4 inch above 2nd node from the bottom. they will root good for ya. thats what i would do. then maybe one week for the freshly topped plants to recover and put 'em in flower.

thats 2-4 weeks from now, bout when you plan to harvest. you may even be able to still reveg molly if you want and still clone the clones. that way you have a few options shall any of them go wrong!!!

yeah thanks, i havent used it in a while, stuck on that dam wooden pipe, but i will test the buds out it.

if i reveg molly, i could keep her as a mother maybe? then when i cut clones from her, i could just keep them in the veg box with her till there ready to go into the flowering box. but i might just get rid of her with being sick right now, not sure yet??? im hoping to cut in about 2 weeks or so.

I think you should just get new strain. It's nice to mix things up.

well till i have extra cash to buy seeds, all i have is my grab bag box of seeds ive saved from here and there, everything ive grown so far has been random bag seeds. as i said before, ive been real lucky with getting females. 6 seeds germed total for 2 grows, 1st grow, 1 male and 1 female which was new bean. 2nd grow, 4 seeds, 1 didnt take, and 3 females. 1-1 which is out in the woods (need to check on her, its been a while) and the 2 girls i have growing now. i will do the two clones for the 3rd grow, but it sure would be nice to get some really good strain. i would like to get 3 different fem seeds and do that for my 4th grow, we'll see.

day 81 for the girls, no changes really, most of molly's fan leaves are gone or are turning brown, she'll be easy to trim up the buds. i was gonna save all the cuttings to make hash, butt i think i'll skip it again this time, theres just not enough cuttings and leaves. plus i really dont have the extra money to buy the grinder and hash press. its all good tho, LoL.

the clones are doing great, and getting bigger everyday. they are on a 1/4 strenght nute mix they get every 3rd day along with still getting sprayed twice a day with just rain water. there doing good for only having 2 23 watt bulbs, i would still like to get 2 more Y splitters and 2 more bright bulbs for the veg box, but what i have will have to do for now.

ok, so i cut a small bud off each plant for testing, and of course i got them mixed up so i dont know which is which, LoL. the first one i tested was an uppity high as i did a bunch of work on my truck. now the 2nd one i just smoke some of is more stoney cause like a couple hits and im just chillin layin on the bed writing this with my eyes half closed, LoL. i will probably take 1 more small one from each and figure out which ones which, but its nice to know the 2 are different highs.

sucks that Molly is browning still. i wonder if maybe she is a strain that needs more of a certain nute at the end of flower, like more N or more K, or something, ya know!! 2-1 is doing great over there and they are on the same regime. well you will still have some good homegrown to toke up!!

thanks gumball and no, the gravity fed water system is just a gallon milk jug, some 1/4" hose and fittings and a on/off valve. i control how much water they get. when i water, they share about a 5th of a gallon because i get about 5 waterings per gallon, so it lasts about a week or so. i always have 2 jugs already mixed to just swap out the jugs.

molly is for sure a very different strain with the pink hairs and pine smell, not just some reg or mid shit. dont really know how i got that? 2-1 is just reg strain, i just screwed up the topping 3 times on her, LoL. but either way, yes, i will have some good smoke for a while.

thanks 22, the smell isnt that bad, a little strong right when the lights go off?? but it stays just in my bedroom, you dont smell it in the rest of the house.

its day 82 for the girls and molly has hardly any fan leaves left on her and most of the ones that are left are brown, but the buds still look great. there is no more pink on molly, all the pistals are either white or turning brown, i cant wait.

the clones are 28 days old now and i think the plan will work out right as far as getting them in the flowering box in about 2 weeks. i plan on putting them in there and running the lights at 18/6 for a couple weeks to try an get some size out of them. i will use the veg box to dry the buds from molly and 2-1. then maybe take a couple more clones from the old clones while they are still vegging with more light. after i take a couple, i'll switch the lights to 12/12 and start flowering on 3-1 and 3-2 and the clones will go straight into 18/6 (maybe 20/4 for the first couple weeks) this time since i dont have to reveg them.
