i bought a rubbermaid today... a 50 gallon! im stacking them and want to try and fit 5 bags on each side 10 plants. i think its possible.. and if i need to downsize to 8 thats okay.
I have a question about wiring one of these 4 bulb fixtures to a lamp cord.. i tried doing it myself (big mistake) and blew a fuse lol.
i know its an easy process i just need to know the specifics.

just keep the plants small(i gallon pots) even if you can fit the bigger ones you dont want 8-10 big plants in there they will be too tight they like room to breath and for light to penetrate.... you can fill those 50 gal with 1 plant on a screen! or a few smaller ones but putting 8 plants in full size grow bags will be disapointing...they need there space

for the light... if its a vanity fixture..get a three prong extension cord(orange) cut off the female end those three wires will match the three on the fixture white to white black to black bare to bare(or green) use wire nuts and tape to be sure its safe then plug her in!! after you reset the breaker

i have seen it all but when people mention grow bags i usually think 3-5 gallon you will be money with the 1 gals!!! i love the clamshell rubbermaids just look a lil to goofy for me but ive seen guys really crank out some nugs with them!! cant wait to see some pics of yours all fired up!!

you can still do it with a two prong wire but the three prong is safer! you can cut an old computer power cable if you dont have the orange guy..i think they have a 12 fotter at walmart for$4

heres the bottom 50gal bin covered in foil tape!
I placed the vanity fixture in the middle.. I will be using 1 gal grow bags on both sides.
The little space at each end between the vanity and the side of the rubbermaid I want to place 2 liter bottles with a co2 mixture.
getting pumped!
