Is there anything you guys who don't grow in greenhouses rig up to protect your crop around October? I am trying to think ahead as much as possible so I am ready when it comes time and not scrambling around. I only have 2 plants in 15 gal pots so it's a very small scale grow. Just wondering what other growers in New England did to combat the bad weather towards the end of the season.
that happened overnight?sorry to hijack the thread but i figured you guys might be able to give me a quick diagnosis...
Plant had was completely green last night, was looking a bit dry so I gave it around 1.5 gallons of RO water since i didn't have my nutes mixed and I knew today was going to be 85 degrees.I think the ph of my RO water is right about 7.
Looked like this yesterday, pic from a couple days ago.... didn't notice anything or of the ordinary and I spent some checking it over.that happened overnight?
when you dont feed or have any nutes in,do you always use RO water?what is your medium? some quick research just told me RO can strip nutes pretty quick.Looked like this yesterday, pic from a couple days ago.... didn't notice anything or of the ordinary and I spent some checking it over.
soil medium: 50% ocean forest, 30% perlite, 20% cow manurewhen you dont feed or have any nutes in,do you always use RO water?what is your medium? some quick research just told me RO can strip nutes pretty quick.
so you recently upped your nutes? and you feed every watering? combined with that manure maybe youre feeding a little heavy? not sure why it would just show now with just the RO...soil medium: 50% ocean forest, 30% perlite, 20% cow manure
Been using RO water exclusively for indoor grow... so RO water + ~1/2 strength (closer to full now that plant is larger) fox farm big bloom, then ph'd to 6.3. Haven't watered without nutes yet... we've also been getting quite a bit of rain lately but the foliage seems to be shedding rain.
I mixed up between 1 and 1.5 gallons of the concoction when I got home and noticed the brown.
been more or less 2/3 to 3/4 strength for a while. the manure is supposedly 0.7 0.7 0.7. Might even be closer to 10-15% manure..so you recently upped your nutes? and you feed every watering? combined with that manure maybe youre feeding a little heavy? not sure why it would just show now with just the RO...
im really not sure.its so drastic it happened overnight!?hopefully someone can help out more than me.it does kind of look like some of your leaves are clawing or is that because theyre wet? some are definitely twisting/canoeing which would lead more in the direction of nute/ph rather than a fungus/mildew.sorry bro, wish i could help out morebeen more or less 2/3 to 3/4 strength for a while. the manure is supposedly 0.7 0.7 0.7. Feed every watering, but I seem to be watering every 4-6 days since we've been getting showers here and there.
thanks for trying to help. its odd. going to definitely set this plant way back i thinkim really not sure.its so drastic it happened overnight!?hopefully someone can help out more than me.it does kind of look like some of your leaves are clawing or is that because theyre wet? some are definitely twisting/canoeing which would lead more in the direction of nute/ph rather than a fungus/mildew.sorry bro, wish i could help out more
This is a white widow that did something similar "overnight".sorry to hijack the thread but i figured you guys might be able to give me a quick diagnosis...

wow, similar, but looks like you missed a disaster. This is a white widow that did something similar "overnight".
This first two pics are from july 11. I first gave her cal/mag in distilled h20 and drenched her. She has only been given distilled h20 since. The last pic is from july 16.
She will not "recover" but the newer growth has been better. I did nothing different with her than any others but she didn't like the notes. I also use FFOF(60%) perlite(20%) and happy frog(20%) I use big bloom tiger bloom a little grow big. I would flush it for several days weeks.
I hope but the point is the damage will never repair but you want to stop it from continuing. The new growth has been green.wow, similar, but looks like you missed a disaster.
Was out there inspecting today... enough to make a grown man cry. haha
