i dont know if this is normal as i'm no expert only being on my 4th crop, but this happened 2 me on my last grow with 2 of my 5 bluberry plants. I harvested plants @ 9/10 weeks /12 weeks and 14 weeks, the 9/10 week ones did not show these signs but the ones @ 12 weeks and 14 weeks sprouted new growth about 11weeks (and continued 2 cover over the old buds . The bud smoked the same and the plants were fine. Dunno if that helped but theirs my 2 pence worth.

im no expert either.... but it sounds like the new bud would just wrap around the other making it biggier and beefier... doesnt sound like a problem at all!

Yeah I think thats the way the buds grow. On mine it looks like a small young bud when viewed from the top but you get to feeling around on it you find a big fat bud under all the leaves which is hard to see. Sort of a tip of the iceburg type thing.

i just found this to be odd seeing that most plants reach a peak in flowering i have never seen a plant have a second wind so to speak.
