Well that particular ballast's is 220v only. I am looking at getting one as well for a really good price. People are skeptical that they don't put out as much light as two separate ballast's but I'll be willing to try it out anyway. If anything they will be good for veg no matter what.

As for the garage you need to decided which way your looking to grow. There's a lot you can do and everyone here would probably make a different room design depending what they liked for a grow type.

You would really no matter what though look to have the flowering room the biggest while keeping the veg/clone room split or shared depending on space. A 2 car garage is at least 18 feet wide and 16-18 feet deep.

So in front of one door so about 8 x16 I would set up two vertical racks for a perpetual grow while maximizing the most you possibly could out of your space. Then in front of the other door your veg room so about 8x8. Then you have the space in front of the veg room as a work space/dry space/ cloning area.

If you catch my drift. lol. But that's just me again.

I myself would split it up of 3 parts half the whole garage is a flowering room then the rest split into two rooms one for cloneing/seedling the next room for plants that are more mature to get myself on a cycle to put straight into the flowering room if possible i would have space for drying room and storing jars/nutes/racking always think about the heat and making sure you can keep it down running so many lights and dont forget about the smell also plan how to keep the room clean and tidy at all times to make your life easy as you can never plan to much but dont forget the basic fresh air and clean space is always a big must. Peace

Well so your doing the whole 2 car garage as a flower room then ? Most bang for your buck and space is vertical. Not sure if you've taken a look at a few yet but you would gain 130% more surface area out of the same area as growing a single set of plants horizontally.

If you Click Here it is a pretty prime example for a vertical grow and what can be accomplished with minimal supply's and money spent. Also I chose this one as an example because of how he built his racks as such a simple design and yet it can be adapted to any style of growing.

After taking a look then let me know what you think.

How big is the garage?
All that light will produce significant heat for certain.
Id suggest NOT sealing it if you can. Much easier to cool unsealed rooms. Much much much easier!
How BIG yu tryna do it? Legal or fuck it?
Dont be fooled by the vertical style. It is ALOT of work maintaing because it requires a great number of plants to produce those high numbers. or MASSIVE trees surrounded by tons of light. I just switched to a v style and im going for trees. I aint goin to jail...

Ps. Hydro will make yur vertical life easier if yur into it.

Prob going to need more than once ac... prob need something in veg room to cool the 1600wat also. I would just get t5s for veg. Also how are you going to acess you plants? Those plants going to have buds start to drop as you should know if you done 7 oz plants before...

Trying to shove ton of plants into smallish space wont work efficietly but hopefully you good. All plants together like that need dehumidifier especially if you bringing air from outside into rooms. Your plants have less than 1ft of space between them. Hopefully this is atleast an hydro setup but i would get rid of veg room an flower entire space.

Nvm man, i just did room with 24 plants and had to expand it to 12 x 24. Idk how your plants have any space at all. Buckets must be touching each other. Doing 24 plants with 1ft space came out to 10x8 an thats wall to wall plants and no space anywhere for ac or dehumid...

Just re-read first page... you never said how big garage is. Someone said about 18x16 so that makes more sence than 12x8 lol...

I would do 16x18 of flowering... foot between wall and pots with 6 rows of 6. So growing space would be a 3 rows of 6 against one wall with foot around each pot so that is 7x13 for 18 pots. Do same thing on opposite side of room. So now you have 14x13 used for plants. Make an isle between both sets of 3 for about 2ft. Thats about 16x13 now. Then add the extra 5ft onto one end of room for your hehumid and ac systems. All fans be mounted on walls to save space.

That is min. Space i would do with that many plants that will be vegged before flowering. If no veg time then flower space can be made smaller... as is i see you needing 2 ac systems.

If you need veg in the garage then cut down on your flowering plants... small space with mucho plants = problems lol. Rather have no issues an effecient plants which prob yeild same as total plants with less space anyways.
