New grow cabinet. Suggestions? Opinions?

Thanks for the reply. I'll hold off on adding additional lighting and just complete (at least) my first grow as is, and make any adjustments based on my results.

yup, thats a 5500 btu. It can get that hot. What it really does is allow me to dial in my enviro. Good weed likes a good environment.
My cabinet is also outdoors in a shed. so in the summer it can get hot.. but plants stay at a cool 75/80 all the time. The winter is what is kickin my ass... LOL got down to 40 a few times. Plants still grow though.

That's awesome!! My next question would be that if you run an a/c in the warmer months, why not a space heater during the winter?
Just keep in mind that if heat is a concern additional T5's will contribute some additional heat. However since you are running led instead of hid you shouldnt have a problem regulating temps. Adding some side light would definitely help bush out your plants so thats something to consider.

Thanks. Bushy is good! It was suggested to me by rwbrock that running T5's vertically may cause some burn to my lovelies, and we can't have that. So maybe I can run some CFL's horizontally under my canopy, out of the line of fire.

I like the idea of side lighting....just wanted to point out be careful as your plants will get bushy and grow into your lights. T5 can run hot and if your plants grow into them they will burn them. I stole this picture from prosperian who runs them vertical in his closet. But has light covers..View attachment 2985842
