ok guys today i'm start my third grow.and again i growing stealth in limited space 65cm deep,65cm wide and 150cm high grow box.got 250w MH bulb with dual MH/HPS ballast.selfmade air cooling(two regular bathroom fans)reflector.3PC fans for air circulation inside box.and of course some not of the best but nice BigBud seeds.start with 7 seedlings germinated in wet paper towel 4 days.soil is the best in my current budget and on prescriptions abot this soil.each pot has 0,7liter soil in.have nutes left ater my previos grow.

how come you dont vegg 24/0 insted of 18/6.i do, as do many others, id say the plants grow much faster, plus it dont hurt the plant. what seeds you got?.

i vegging them under 16/8 for two reasons.first:cost of electricity,second:in my opinion 16/8 is more close to natural lightning shedule.seeds are BigBud from my second grow,i have pollinated some of flowers for seeds.i hope they not too bad.

some short update.all seven seedlings are sprouted out of soil.but first problems begin,i'm not sure but something wrong with light bulb,light is soooo weak for 250w MH,lot weaker then 6 23w cfl"s bulbs.i know this bulb is used almost seven months in some wearhouse for 12hours at day.i read here on riu bulbs need to be changed after every 3 grows,is this true? and of course some pics.

something goes wrong with this grow,and i cant understood really what.they grow too slow they are almost two weeks old.two of them die without any reasons.week ago i buy new MH bulb 250w. difference in light is amazing,new one is much brighter.by the way something is wrong.ph is 5,8-6,2.temp is 23c lights off 26-27c lights on.humidity 45-55%.

you mean big light?yes they are under 250w MH.i know this ph-nutrient tester is crap but don't have other right now.it's hard to find in my country something useful.btw those plants looks like one week old not two weeks old,and i cant find whats wrong here.i dont give any nutes just plain plain ph-ed water.

the lites too strong or too far away, mine were like that , when i put under 250 hps, 2 weeks old from seed, they looked like yours, so i put under flos for a week, and now there big enuf for the 250, now. there a little small. id say

dont worry about ph. for now, as long as your waters ph,ed the plants will be ok, for a few weeks. just water every other day, for a week or two.
do you have any flos?.

i have bunch cfl's bulbs each 23w.you mean better they grow under cfl's at this stage of growth?o.k.ill try to wire them later.actually i have 12 pieces cfl's.thanks for advice.maybe you right.my first and second grow happens under just cfl's.in second grow my plants got HPS just on flowering time.and all goes good.

i find where is slow growing problem.....soil.i change soil right after previous post here in journal and they start growing faster and nice.lights is the same 250w MH.got some schultz plant food,just don't know it is good or not too.first pic is before change soil next is today.and of course add some co2.
