So I’ve grown in living soil in the past using 15 gallon solid containers. It has worked very well over the last few years but now I’m upgrading my space and using 30 gallon bags instead. To create a larger environment for the soil and plants. Here is my mix I’m trying something new tell me what you think.
3 gallons perlite
3 gallons compost
3 gallons coco
1 1/2 cups garden tone
1 cup dolomite lime
1 cup kelp meal
4 cups rock dust
Recharge also added in during cooking period
Watered and let cook for forty five days
the pots are wrapped in skid wrap plastic to prevent rapid evaporation. watering once every four to five days using a gallon and a half at a time. I’ll be top dressing once a month with one cup garden tone, one cup dolomite lime, a half cup of kelp meal, one cup of glacial rock dust, and one cup of earth worm castings and a 1/4 cup epsom salt mixed with three cups of fresh compost. I’ll be doing this monthly during veg. During flower I’ll be top dressing with Gaia green power bloom 2-8-4 at one cup, also using hi yield super phosphate at Recomended dose, one cup of earth worm castings a half cup of kelp meal up till the last feeding and one cup neem seed meal. The water is aerated for 48 hours with epsom salt and recharge and silica added in. so let me know what you think and how it’ll go also the environment is 79 to 82 degrees 60 to 65 rh for seedlings and early veg using hlg rspec 650 lights at about 28 to 34 inches away and vegging for 90 days and scroging these monsters.
