New grow....nutrients and water question

Currently have a few girls in some Organic Master Nursery Gardners Gold potting mix without any other mixers (i now know this runs hotter than id like, but it seems to be feeding the ladies nicely)

ingredients: fir bark, forest hummus, pear moss, perlite, compost chick manure, worm castings, bat guano, kelp meal, dolomite and oyster shell.

Since the ladies are only about on their 6th node, everything in the soil has been more than enough in regards to nutrients. ive been feeding with tap water every other day and getting runoff around 6.1. I recently purchased some Protekt to go along with my Maxibloom, and plan on using the protekt as PH Up as well. My problem is that when I add protekt to my tap water the PH is through the roof! Since i will not be using maxibloom for a few weeks, i was curious if theres any PH down products (Other than actual PH Down) that would tie me over until i get the maxibloom running.

My other question: I PHd my tap water and RO water and they are essentially identical. I was curious as to what the difference is and which is better to use?

Thanks a ton in advance. Its appreciated

I would just hold off on the Pro-tekt until you get the Maxibloom which will lower your PH, Silica is not critical at all at this point. In fact, I don't think it's needed at all in soil. It's already in there!

RO is better if the PPM readings of your water is high ( >100 or so)
