Hey guys and gals,
New grow room started, I am very excited; this will be my first venture
I just had some general questions as far as soil and nutes and one about lights.
So, I'll try and make this as user friendly as possible.
SOIL
I bought:
Fox Farms Ocean Forest or FFOF as I see a lot of people writing.
Happy Frog
Earthworm Castings
Promix BX
Perlite
My main question is understanding which soils to add and how much (I know there is a lot of debate on this so a general consensus for a newbie would be nice) , I bought 7 gallon smart pots.
NUTRIENTS
I bought:
Mendocino Honey (Sweet Carbohydrates)
Diamond Black (Liquid Humic Acid)
Tiger Bloom
Big Bud
Big Bloom
Great White
Grandma Enggy's
Now I know I need to get some epsom salt to sprinkle on, but besides that is there anything I missed? Anything I bought and maybe could have done without? Any advice or reviews you guys have?
LIGHTS
I bought Sunpulse 2.8k MH (I was told these bulbs do the job for blooming just like a HPS) They are 1000w and I also have an Xtrasun convertible ballast. Now when doing research I learned that those Sunpulses are designed to go into a digital ballast.. is that ballast digital? I know it switches from MH to HPS ..
