Try adjusting your light schedule by 30 minutes a day, that should work!

If you don't mind the labor or the extra veg time, scrog should be more productive in that small space.
Actually that's almost the ideal size for 2x600W. They each will cover 3x3 with pretty good light. You get a few more inches on the long sides due to overlap. It's true a 600W will cover 4x4 but you'll find the plants around the edges will be small and the ones in the middle will suffer from the light being so far away. With your existing lights, CFL's are definitely in the picture.
It's important to cool the lights on a separate fan circuit than exhaust in that small of a space. It also helps you get the lights much closer. More intense light = more bud, always. You can pick up old bathroom light strips for CFL's at places like Habitat for Humanity or any architectural salvage joint. They're a lot easier to handle than a lot of bulbs hanging from simple sockets.
Hope this helps

haha wow, note to self; dont smoke bowls in grow room. got a little too baked and ended up staring at them for 2 hours. now my eyes hurt, and its 3am : (

anyways heres my first attempts at scrog, hows this? oh and note that the smaller plants arent going to be part of the SCrog, the smaller ones are going to be FIMed.

i think tomorrow im going to make some sugar / yeast co2 bottles and buy some co2 bottles from target or something for an extra boost since the temps are getting kinda high.

oooohhh myyy godddd!!! you guys arent going to believe what a deal i found today. i was driving around my town and there is a surplus store thats been there for 20+ years. so i say what the hell and i take a look, i see a few useless shit. and THEN i found the fan section =) heres some pics. its a hell of a fan.

my dad also wanted to invest in some home security because its not the safest of areas really...lol, we ended up getting a 4 camera system. ones going in the grow room! i can monitor my plants from anywhere in the world with internet basically now. currently watching them on my tv as i type

oh and btw the fan was only $40, he plugged it in for us and it ran perfect. seems to be in great condition too

yeah i'm going to be checking a few surplus stores and see what i can find. he actually had a lumatek 750watt ballast but he wanted like 200 i told him he was fucking crazy. but yeah imma go see what else they have, maybe i can macguyver a light mover

awesome deal on the fan. how much did the camera cost whered you find it

fry's electronics, the whole system was about $400. you can go much cheaper though if you only need one camera. i needed a few specific things though so it was a bit more. you can also do an IP camera which would work great for this, those are under $100 and you would be set

heres an update, doing yeast / sugar in 3 gallon bucket and about 3 co2 cartridges a day. co2 gen is a little out of budget right now, but im im seeing a huge growth spurt just from this.
