New grow(Round two!)

Hey everyone, Shadowgrower, back in action! had to take a break, complications! but Im back!!! This will be my 2nd grow, and im looking forward to having some people come along for the journey! I have seeds down already, pics will be posted today!

The box has 4, 100 watt CFLs in the top of it, 1 in "daylight spectrum" 1 in "sunlight spectrum" and 2 in "full spectrum". I also have a 65 watt plant light at the bottom facing upwards, mainly for heat, as the ventilation I have currently cools the box too much! :)
There is a 12v fan out of a Nintendo gamecube, jimmy rigged to a 12v power supply, as well as a 12v fan out of an old computer I had. The two fans, in opposite corners of my box move air quite nicely. The box is 360 mylared as well. my only problem I think will be humidity, due to exposed electronics, im afraid of having a mister or anything.

EDIT: I will be moving on to a 400 watt HPS with a few 120 watt plant lights for supplemental lighting around the room.
Has anyone ever heard of doing a "sideways" grow? Meaning, i've got the light off the one side, instead of above. I don't have room in my attic for the plants to grow upwards, so, this is probably the only viable option? Will this work?
Basically.

Do you mean those are 100 watt equivalents? I am running with x2 85 watt CFL's (350 watt equivalents) at the moment in my current grow and they just look giant compared to what you are saying are 100 watts. I'm just curious..

@Shadowgrower1 You should make the CFL's adjustable so they can get within an inch of the plant. They need to be at least 3 in from the plant because beyond that range you have massive lumen loss. Do a search on what I'm talking about under the CFL subforum. You will end up with a better grow! I'm currently rigging up a PC grow box and the biggest mistake people make is having fixed lights. You either need to move the lights to the plants or the plants to the lights. Good luck!

Have you thought much about the growth after Veg and into Flower? That box isn't going to produce much once they start going. Just my 2cents.

Good luck bro...interesting setup.

Hey all! So, I did a little measuring... my plants were sitting somewhere in the 6-7 inch range from the lights, I put a couple of old books I don't care about under em and raised em up about 2 inchs. I have 3 plants that have broken soil and are showing their first pairs of leaves, and a 4th one whom I'm not sure will make it or not. I also got 6 feminized "silver haze" seeds from a friend who bought em online. I started those yesterday in paper towels and will be putting them into soil tomorrow around noon, maybe a little later. Next update when the Haze breaks soil! See ya all in a few days!

About the size of the room, its a baby box, once they are too big for this box, I will be switching them upstairs to the attic with the 400watt hps. I also have 2 of these 120 watt "plant lights" that I got from Lowes. The guy there said they produce a lot of Vitamin D? Ill take a pic of the bulb and post it tomorrow or something.

Also, yes, those are 100watt Equivs, I think they are 23 1/2 watts in 100 output.

For the most part I think my box is doing well, the plants that have broke soil hardly have any stem at all, which im assuming is due to proper lighting :-D

of the start of the box and whatnot.
these photos were amazing.
I hope you can post more photos.

I will be posting more photos for sure. Every step of the way!
@Trent, I will have to bring the plants UP to the light :)
I might end up trying to LST in this box too!
