Im looking to buy a new grow set up.

Whats a good small grow tent to buy? ( links pleaseeeee )

something around 5 ft tall, & 2x4 or 2x2

maybe a 250w hps or any suggestions.

looking for 6oz harvest max every 3 months

Thanks for the help.

had a few practics runs a couple years ago with a 3x3x7 600w hps.
but want something smaller

6 ounces? In a little tent with a 250-watt light? Every 3 months? If you can do that you should go into the consulting business. But wait! Some will come soon with all kinds of ideas for you.

I'll say it again because I'm starting to understand that Hotrodharley is one of the peoples around here that knows this subject of cannabis growing.

No but easily achievable in 4 months. I got 7 and a half ounce last time. And jump to page 13 mate, you will see around 6 ounces there.

You are going to need more space than that though mate, i grow in a 750mm x 750mm x 2000mm. DWC bucket. 4 weeks veg, and how ever long the strain takes to finish flowering. Mine is in week 5 of flower, and its hard to judge but theres around 5/6 ounce on it now and another 3/4 weeks to go.

That's where the kicker is only 3 months...if you got dialed in you could do it, won't be dense but somewhat possible just not on the 3 months just starting off either

I agree the time frame is pushing it. Although after the first grow if he times things right and is able to get seedlings started elsewhere it is doable using the right techniques and training, and the right strains of course.

@hotrodharley looking at your profile you seem highly knowledgable and well respected here and I don't doubt that, but I imagine you grow with a higher wattage lamp? Have you any experience with using a 250w throughout a grow?
I joined RIU after years of reading through many different threads and have learnt a lot of things, I probably have even read something from you aswell, so thank you if I have gained any knowledge from you!!
You keep saying "it ain't happening" which is likely to put the lad off the idea, when really it is doable, so lets give him the right information and help him succeed in his goal.

While I don't maintain records (stupid to do so unless you live in a legal state or have MMJ) these figures pretty much reflect my experience both as a novice grower and as an advanced grower. I'm a Marine and a RN. I believe in dealing with straight facts.Not wishful thinking or fantasy. Note the cabinet size and not just the wattage of our lamp.

Autoflower is prob the best option? I recently pulled 9oz from a 250hps in 76 days. I use a DS90 tent tho (90x90x170cm). Got some really nice dense buds off it, was surprised myself! If your willing to try autos you might be surprised! I'm doing blue kush & critical cheese now & they are starting to stink at 3 1/2 weeks! Best of luck & hav fun trying whatever you do!

I'm curious if you know anything about his seedbank (Robert Bergman)? I grabbed that bible a few months ago and got to poking around in the seedbank but ended up going with a different one...
