I do run at off times, but keep in mind I'm running more than a single light/room so the cab is likely running me in the $25-$30/month range. You can also reduce some usage/costs by running the carbon filter only during flowering, even then depending on the strain it only needs to run for a few weeks towards the end, they suck up a lot of power running through a filter so I only use it when needed. And yes, you should have a variable speed controller on that f6/450cfm fan, running it full tilt will suck the walls in! Haven't run into any strains that stink enough to bother with a filter during veg and early flowering. I'm sure there are but I think it's rare.

I've also made the decision to switch my nutrient regime to AN GMB Ph Perfect, with Big Bud and Overdrive as flowering supplements. I've been using house and garden but I find the base doesnt provide enough PK in flowering, also was causing some PH issues.

You mentioned your computer being 550w and on all the time. Try getting a low powered PC like an android on a stick or something you can use for surfing. I can connect my phone to my monitor and surf on that, then you can only turn on your PC for gaming. If this is not an option, sorry, I tried. =p

Well, i have a macbook pro which i mostly use, my pc is for gaming, i was just simply making a comarison, that 400w of power isn't very much, and it's unlikely the building manager(s) will notice it and complain to me about it. I was even considering getting a 3rd xgs-190 for just the flowering phase, because i will run it in off-peak hours, its only 7.2c/kw off-peak. thats like $17/month for 12 hrs/day

also had a question about hempy buckets, was planning on doing a bunch of plants in 2 gal hempys, how big could I let them safely get, doing coco hempys ofc so, bottom 2.5 inches would be perlite, then up to halfway with 50/50 coco perlite and rest pure coco. Just wondering if it's bad to grow say 6-8 of those in a small space so I can veg for maybe 3-4 weeks.

So, i am definitely doing 2 of the xgs-190's, everyone seems to love em, was thinking about also tossing in 2xrw75's for flowering, just for a bit more red, the all white of the xgs190 weirds me out a little, but the umoles look solid. Anyone think that would be a good setup ? Or should i just do 3x xgs190's ?

An important note, im doing 8 plants(coco hempys) in a 28'x55'x72' hydrohut silver edition.
