new grow, start indoors or out?

about to start a new grow outdoors and was wondering if i should start them indoors by way of CFL and wait till they are little sprouts then plant outside or just go ahead and plant outside in container?

aight.. once they are ready to go out should i put the contanier up in a tree away from little creatures? was really thinking of doing this and then just have one on the ground (of coures all this is secluded)

That won't help much...bugs can climb trees! If you're worried about animals put a little fence around them, like chickenwire. If it's insects get some neem oil, it keeps them off pretty well.

bump, what soil should I use if I am growing out side in lets say hypothetically in the southern part of the USA
