New Grower 1st Time

Hey guys,

I just started out growing and wanted to share my lil babies with u. I am using 7 26watt softwhite cfls on a 12/12 cycle from seed. For nutes im using BloomBooster by miracle grow( i know xD). Plants are looking great so far just waiting for them to sex. these pics were taken today (Day 20 of grow) hoping the plants will begin to sex soon.


Any and all feedback is welcome.

Question - Is 20 to 30 days about the average amount of time to sex a plant w/ a 12/12 cycle from seed? im sure it varies. any feedback would be great!

around 21 days is what they take to show sex growing 12/12 FS, I'm also growing 12/12 from seed now

ya i am tryin the 12/12 from seed thing too...and your plants are lookin sweeeeettt!!!! but if i may interrupt your thread for a quick question? to get the "pole" buds do i have to do anything to the plant? trim leaves, or anything? or is because i started 12/12 from seed that thats just how they are going to grow?

what do you mean by "pole" buds ?

Your babies are looking nice. Hope they start showing you white hairs soon!

Do you mean like single cola? If you don't do anything to the plant in terms of cutting, you should get a single cola.
If you want two colas, you should top your plant above the third node.
There is also FIM, which is the partial cutting of the main cola -- but I haven't perfected that yet.
