New Grower, Need Help, Outdoor Weed

Hey homies, I'm a new grower. I got some bag seeds from my cuz and am trying to grow enough bud for me and my friends. I've been on the site for about a week, so I got the basic idea of how to do things, but got a few questions.

I'm planning on germinating the seeds with the paper towel method, then transporting them to small cups, with good soil and fertilizers in it. I can't keep my plants inside so I got a spot all picked out in a clearing, plenty of sun and everything. After it grows a little im gonna step it up and switch to bigger pots.

Its pretty warm here, like 50s-70s during the day, but at night it gets down to about 30-40. Is it still too cold to start growing? It will get warmer as the summer progresses, so I can wait, but I'm eager to get my pants growing and smoking my own weed

Also, if everything goes well I'll have apretty good harvest. I was wondering if I can speed up the drying process with a food dehydrator, I realize those things get pretty warm, but can I put it on the lowest setting and will it work to quicken the drying process?

Oh yeah, how many plants would I need to have enough bud for my homies and me to smoke on the weekends, and a little extra to sell?

the amount of pot after growing depends on the strain, many strains have different yields, and since its bag seeds its hard to tell, also depends on the size. id say grow 4-5 plants, should give you more than enough if your only smokin weekends, the temp im not overly sure, what you can do to be safe is start them now and just put the plants on windowsill for 2 weeks, then move to outside when it should be a little warmer. or do a combo, keep on windowsill nights and mornings then around 11am move them outside since it should be warm by then and then bring them back in around 8pm. ive had pot outside around 55F dunno about 40F tho thats a little cold, ideal i think is around 65-70F

I my self 7g a day.

wow a quarter a day? ive been smokin for 10 years and still a little less than a gram a day, 1 big toke and im good for an hour

I go threw 5-8 pounds a year just me and my girl.........
Depends on stress, pain, or party, Etc.

I have been smoking for like 14-15y and growing for12-13
I have no other crutches don't drink and no cig's.
Just alot of bud!!!!!!!

hey buddy, yeh its still to cold man. Marijuana likes it in like 75-90 I think it would be to cold where you live. Also the nights would deffently not be good for it. I would wait another week or two, and let temps get a little higher. About how much you would need... I would say 6 plants would be good, take your time on them, and do things right, and you should have a good amount of weed. A good outdoor grow can produce alot of weed man, Just make sure you dont stress them out to much. You could easily get a pound off 6 plants, and I would think that would be enough to smoke and sell. Goodluck with your grow, but I would wait a bit : )

im not TOO sure, but i think thats too cold for the plants. i may be wrong.

you also have to consider not all of the plants will be female, if you plant all your seeds more than half could be male which doesnt have thc and it will make your female plants all seedy which isnt good at all cause the thc will be lower since the female will use its energy to make the seeds.

the only reason a female would have seeds is if it was flowered near a male and it pollinated it, it wont jsut naturally be seedy cause theres a male around

1/4 oz a day???? Wow! We are small time compared to you guys. The Mrs. and I will go through a 1/4 oz every 10-14 days or so. I'm thinking about 3/4-1 oz per month would be ideal for us. We only get high at night and weekends. Toking during the work day is a big no-no for us.

Yeah, hearmenow, I smoke the same pattern as you and go through about a quarter a month for just me...this probably also includes about 4 nights of living off of resin until I can find some for sale. (Hopefully this won't be a problem anymore!)

I will say my tolerance is building...it took two good bowls to take care of me last night. Guess that's the danger of smoking from the same bag every day for a time. Next grow I think i will go with three strains just to keep a rotation going so I don't get tolerant.
