New grower suspecting N deficiency~

Hi guys~ Been lurking around here for some time but I just decided to make an account as I have a small issue I'd like to nip in the bud (huehue)

I have 2 pictures attached, one of the grow itself, and another better picture of the plants in question.

I think they might be suffering from a nitrogen deficiency but I'd like to verify to make certain...first time grow here! I really don't wanna botch it up TOO bad at least...

Let me know what you guys think! I'd appreciate it~

Indoor grow, using soil (I WISH I knew which kind it was exactly but my room mate had some and he can't remember which it was now -.-
not exactly sure how many lights you might be able to guess from the picture it's quite a few smaller bulbs it's a phototron setup

that does look like nitrogen def. if you're not giving any fert, then you could get a cheap solution in a bottle of Schultz 10-15-10 that you can buy at places like lowe's or home depot if you're in the states. a small bottle is about 4 bucks. if you want a better more well-rounded fert, then I'd suggest dynagrow at a hydro store. one quarter to one half teaspoon in a gallon of water should do the trick. whatever fert you get, don't give it too frequently as it shouldn't be necessary in soil. also make sure you let the soil dry out between waterings to allow oxygen to get to the root zone.

Hey Polish! Thank you very much for the response! I had been giving them nutes every third or so watering? But I stopped because of the yellowing I thought perhaps it was too much for the little things~ Appreciate your information very much! Will go back to giving them nutes ^-^

It's possible to kill plants with overwatering, so be careful how how you do this. Let the soil dry out quite a bit between waterings.

For sure, for sure! Right now I'm using some Vita-Grow products, and definitely letting the soil mostly dry out up to 4 inches or so before watering...

Any advice on how often to give nutes depending on size?
