If a seed is sprouted in the sun, the sun won't burn it. You could just put them outside in pots. Bring them in at night if there is a risk of frost. Your area may be passed the frost. The sun is free.

Yeah, this is what I had intended to do but now my plants are stretching too much. But also before they weren't in direct sunlight, do you think leaving them out in direct sunlight could help with that and get everything back on track?

I do dro and that's the only reason I'm not using roots organic and do use dynagro.
I do roots organic in coco every now and then but I stick to hydro since I don't like spending 25 bux on a bag of coco.
Although coco is a form of hydro.

I meant I would rather buy one of those that I could buy locally instead of buying it online and waiting for shipping and everything.
oh yeah I see that now that I read it again. dunno, if you have no hydro stores could be hard to find either.

But I think you probably have time to order some stuff since seedlings don't require nutrients for awhile.
And I thought I saw something that led me to believe you were using a soil that contains nutrients but can't remember because I was looking at the cleavage in your avatar :\

Just bury most of the stem& give it more light for now. Put them in a bigger pot about a month from now. Set it outside & let it go. Then feed it when it gets transplanted with an all purpose plant food. Its your first time hell the only way you learn is by screwing up. You can get much advise on here but too much thrown @ you all @ once is overwhelming!!!

Yes. It looked like you had some room left in the cups. Fill the cups to the top and bury the stems. Put them out in the early morning sun. Maybe move them to the shade when the sun is over head and brightest the first day or two.

The days are getting longer now so its a good time for them out doors.

I don't know how long your growing season is but you could end up with big plants.

I agree! This is most likely what I'll do. I'll have many more chances for perfection in the future. I just need to learn and find out what works best for me and where I am.

I live in Savannah, GA so I have pretty long summers.

Theres more @ Home Depot than MG. Which will work just fine if you use it correctly. You can make you're own fertilizer without using any of the powder. Organically. Its really not that difficult. All that liquids on the net are fine but you can do it yourself much cheaper + she doesn't need to waste money on that right now since its her first time anyway. If the research is done she can make her own.
