Well in my case what's best for me is best for my ladies which is reverse osmosis water, I have yet to run into any issues using RO water, I'm against using tap water for my ladies...I was actually reading about water quality in most USA cities and the study shows that most tap water in most cities there are traces of at least 5 different pharmaceuticals on average and in extreme cases 60 different pharmaceuticals was found in one city's tap water, with that in mind I just like to use RO water. But with that being said I would use tap water all day if I had to, I've seen amazing grows with people using water straight out of the tap not even letting it sit for 24 hours! BTW if you're using high-quality nutrients you should never have to worry about using calmag unless you're running coco from what I'm hearing.I started with distilled also, almost immediately started having lockout problems. Whether it was from calmag deficiency or ph, or both... (ph was shockingly high, 7.4 I believe) but, I don't care really.
All I know is that it went away after using tap water. I'm on a well, so chlorine was never an issue to me, but don't count it out.
We all want the best for our ladies, but sometimes the best to you isn't that for them.
That's recycled water that has pharmaceuticals in it. Many cities in the west run off natural aquifer wells. I don't think being against tap water makes sense unless you actually check the data on the water in your neighborhood. I'm not telling you, @Enigmatic Ways , I know you're happy with your setup, I just mean for others who haven't made a decision. Some city water is safer than most bottled water by far. RO is great, but I don't want the extra step and I personally don't need it. Check the data, all y'all noobs.Well in my case what's best for me is best for my ladies which is reverse osmosis water, I have yet to run into any issues using RO water, I'm against using tap water for my ladies...I was actually reading about water quality in most USA cities and the study shows that most tap water in most cities there are traces of at least 5 different pharmaceuticals on average and in extreme cases 60 different pharmaceuticals was found in one city's tap water, with that in mind I just like to use RO water. Also I found a data sheet on the tap water around here but don't really know what all I need to be looking at on it. but the pH is 8.0 isn't that a Lil high?
