NEW GROWER using CFL's!

Doing more installation of the lights, ive noticed, im gonna need just a slightly larger box, length and width. Its a good thing too, because im using plastic party cups as the pots for my clones. 20 fit in snuggly, but i definetly cannot fit 6 of those bulbs in there. Gonna have to bust out the bob villa skills and construct a newer box that can house these lights and not cramp my planter pots!
6 85watt lights, daylight spectrum 5800 lumens per bulb. Hardly any heat, infact the other 23w cfls i used had some heat on them once i removed them. These badboys are almost too hard to look at!

As you can tell, i cannot fit these lights in there, they are staggered, but man they put out a very bright light! Ive came up with new dimensions for my box, to make its just slightly deeper, but significantly wider, to house all those new 6 lights. Plus, the front and back lights are almost next to the door, im affraid of it accumulating heat near it and possibly burning or catch fire. Going to have to put a 1 inch space between the door and back for the air movement to cool the bulbs off a little.

Unfortunately, 3 of the bulbs i received were damaged/defective, 1 was cracked at the top, and 1 was completly broken, the 3rd was just defective and didnt light up at all. Fortunately i doint have to ship the broken glass back to them, they are sending me 3 new ones with no questions asked! www.1000bulbs.com is where i ordered my lights from, good prices and LOTS of lights to choose from, household to area lighting, they got all the parts/bulbs you can imagine!

Although it's cool that they're replacing the products, it sucks that you have to wait for them to arrive again. I'd try and call them to swindle more lights out of them hoes 
Great to hear that your plants are loving the new lights you got for them. I just got a couple clones myself and we'll be growing at the same time it looks like..
