Hi all,
I am new to growing and have a few questions. I'll also be posting some pics as I go. Here's my set up:
Rubbermaid Growbox
250 Watt HPS light, fans, white tape, etc.
20/20/20 soil
1 seedling of possible sativa decent
Here's my dilemma. Waiting for light supplies led me to have a seedling sitting under 1 26Watt CFL for 2 weeks. It was actually really bad research that caused this. At first I thought all I needed was the bulb, then the mogul base, and then, finally, the ballast.
I've got it all set up nicely now. These seeds were 3 years old and I tried germinating ALL of them. It was from when I was living in the Southern US and most likely Mexican (was in bricks). My biggest worry is if my little girl turns out to be a boy. I have no access to the good stuff now because of a new move and can't use my finished product for 6 months anyways. How do I go about finding more of the starting product? Any way to get some in the US? Anyone want to help out a new greenie?
Other than that things are going ok. My seedling is about 2 inches tall with yellowish-green cotelydon. I'm trying to make sure the temp is low enough and the light not too harmful. The light is currently about 12" from the little girl. If she is a 'she' I will be experimenting with cutting and cloning to increase my yield with the long amount of time available.
