Hello,

This is my first ever grow and I was having difficulty getting my seedlings to progress. As a result of that I have 4 plants in one a deep water culture system that are at different lifecycle stages. One is flowering and the other 3 are in vegetative stages. I tried to move the vegetative ones to a separate DWC system but the roots are tangled up beneath!

The issue- I have decided to work and focus on the flowering plant and have tried to apply flowering nutrients to the whole DWC system but I am experiencing issues with my flowering plant developing yellow leaves and now brown tips. I have tried to manage nutrients by monitoring ppm levels and ph levels. Now I’m thinking there is more to nutrients than just the ppm number e. different levels of nitrogen, calcium, etc.

Below are snippets of my leaves. Also, here is a pic of the plant. I feel like I need to empty all the water and start fresh with 0 nutrients. Since I was focused on ppm levels and not the different nutrients that make up that number.

Any guidance would be appreciated on how to get my flowering plant green and healthy again as this has occurred over the past 3-5 days.

Thanks!

What's the ph and the ppm or ec or your water. Temp of the solution also helps in this. Give a bit more info on the grow as well.

Next time... I highly ;) recommend one plant one bucket

Your yields will be greater and trying to learn by that many plants is a slow process

the ph is always between 5.7 and 6.0. My ppm at the moment is 850. It was in the low 1000s not too long ago but after adding water it has gone down and i am afraid to apply more nutrients until i get a better understanding of the yellowing. I am growing in a SuperStar grow cabinet with a hydroponics system and a Kind LED xl300 grow light. The light is about 18 to 20 inches above the plant and is on an 18 on /6 off schedule. I am using rockwool and clay pebbles. The flowering plant is an autoflower and the others are feminized (i know, not smart having them together). I am using Lotus Premium Plant Nutrients but these nutrients are only Grow, Bloom and Boost packs. My temp has always been like mid-70's Fahrenheit i believe. Anything i am missing?

Ya, i ordered my grow cabinet and it came with these nifty hydroponics systems but i know realized that a simple bucket would have sufficed. Got any links to some good ones? Or do you recommend making one.
