New growth late in flower?

My girl is about 3 weeks from finishing, roughly, its bagseed so no strain info. Anyways, about 4-5days ago i noticed that there was new growth popping up all over the buds, and now the new growth covers almost all the old bud, and she has grown an inch in the last week, nothing has changed that i can think of it, is this normal or should i be worried?

Bud 4days ago when i noticed it

Hey bro nothing wrong at all with more bud being produced you just might need to add on a little bit more time that's all. Nice looking tree BTW, she looks exotic.

some strains grow buds from buds some foxtail (which i dont like) but ive also heard foxtailing can be caused by an issue idr what though heat maybe idr...also when the bud grows from a bud that CAN be a sign they are finishing up, or again maybe just strain specific just keep an eye on it and harvest at the right time and it isnt a problem or anything

ever seen....nvm let me find a pic it will be easier that way http://www.420magazine.com/gallery/data/502/100_16221.JPG ...my bad i guess its still foxtailing even if it looks liek a whole different bud in a bud so he does have foxtailing going on right now and the pic above is a comparion but what i thought it was looks more like this http://www.uk420.com/boards/uploads/1249337204/gallery_1685_2376_57701.jpg i thought the two were different but seems they can just look different. so now heres a link to another thread which i have not read yet so idk if it will help but its about causes of foxtailing maybe this will help you a bit https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/152649-causes-foxtailing.html

seems most people after reading that thread quick agree heat is the main cause of this or high nitrogen in flower IF its not because of genetics or the fact that the plant is nearing harest time

and now the more i read that the more i see it may be different so the first pic i posted above seems to be called crowning (where nugs come from inside other nugs) and the second pic is truly foxtailing(looks like just a single calyx and instead of forming a bud it just splits and keeps making a row of calyxes)..someone mentioned dreading as well and idk what the hell the difference between that deformation is but true foxtailing like in that second pic is usually not good and indicitive of a problem but sometimes strain specific as well and the crowning like the op has is i believe more indicitive of the plant either finishing up or just trying to pack on a little more bud than it has space for and is not a bad thing imo

Good looking out bro, so fox tailing is bad huh. Lets see during regular hrs my temps are about 83°f but feels with the fan on and at night they are 79°f. What you think about that

i think your pushing it..you have to remember inside the temps might be 83 but the plant is just sitting right under the light the intensity on the plant brings it up a few degrees you should really shoot for under 80 highest and a target normal day temp of about 75 and at night you would like this to drop plants need a difference in the day night temp so it would be good to lose about at least five degrees but ten is better..you also run a risk of your plant herming on you at high temps 83 you should be ok but if you ever hit 87-90 some days watch out. high temps will also cause wispy buds that dont smell good. how long has it been flowering? if your almost done and you know it didnt herm and their are no premature or grown seeds then your good if its only been flowering for 3 weeks keep an eye out for complications but either way get that temp down..it looks like its getting near done from the pic and looking ok i will look again

Well lets see, I noticed I missed the word "cool" earlier when referring to temp but I have no other way to lower the temp. Its like 30°f outside n even with the window left open half way only drops to 80°f. Well lets see, I am a closet grower n currently two female growing together. They were twins from seed. They are aprox 5 1/2 weeks into flower n looking good. One is taller then the other. And the shorter one glowered late but is developing very fast. Almost think its trying to catch up. Minimum stress ever. Smaller tree lost no leaves except for first two and the taller one only had 4 fan leaves cut off by me becaused I burned them. I would take a pic right now but they are in darkness n pic quality n green light sucks.
just realized the pic isnt related to your room lol

well sometimes it helps to take another fan and have it propped up by the top of the light or the ceiling and have that blow out. if its a sliding closet have it blow out high on one side with the doors open as far as possible so they are both in the middle and in on the other side..are you running heat in the house, most likely that was just a stupid question..so if you ca,n turn the heat down further during the days and put a sweater on or at the least double check you vent cover is closed in that room and cover it up..if your not legal be careful about opening windows imo..but if its ok keep the top window open if it goes down and also keep the actual door to the actual room open all the time if possible this will help ALOT....all that said if your five weeks in and things are looking good and arent wispy and you have good trich production and it smells dank then you are probably ok anyway but you will benefit from dropping the heat in the form of yield at the least

Yea actually I smell them all the time no scent yet.... I think its a late flowering strain. The buds look dense and its full of white hairs. I accidentally topped her 9daus ago by actually burning her with a solar bulb it self and it created a twin cola. Its been growing pretty cool looking. I trimmed off the burnt foulage and she recovered well. A lot of new growth. She sits under a direct 200watt cfl, pure Watts. With an additional 8 26watt1750. 2700k rating bulbs surrounding her. All the side lights sit within 2inchs of foilage.

oh wow i assumed you were using an hid with those temps...well cfls are cooler so your temp is more ambient room temp probably so im sure your just fine good luck lmk how it winds up at the end im always curious to see if someone can make something happen without an hid
