new growth on flowering plants

my plants r now in the 8th week of flowering and they have new growth on the top.I have given them too much light should be 12/12 but i had a problem and for a few days they got more. what should i do with the new growth on the top cut it off or leave it:?

interesting.... that has never happened to me but I have heard that f--king with the light cycle can really throw them... I would trim them back and hope like hell that it doesn't happen again.... GOOD LUCK :weed:

cheers pal thats what im thinking of doing the growth is newflowers growing out top of buds.they are 8 weeks now,nearly ready,1 cheese+1 blue cheese timer f-up and the lights were on for 15-9 until i realised.would giving them a extra week help?or cut all new growth and leave new buds or cut it all off the branch?post a pic tomoz!

I would say an extra week will be necessary...maybe even 2/3...its always worth while letting them fully mature before you harvest...just my opinion :weed:

Keep a watchful eye out that they don't go hermie especially if any of them came from Feminized seed stock.

He's 8 weeks into flowering. Even if it does go hermie, doubt its going to be a prob. It 4-5 weeks for seeds to mature and the male flowers will need some time to mature and open.

they have matured but this is just new re-vegetated growth through too much light!they will be11-12 week in 2 to 3 more,thanks for help andcrop the mature and scrap the new,if youve read mould found and 9 week old on friday,blues at six week don't want them poorly.cheers pal

hmm im seeing the same thing now too.... what should i do? i have one soilid cola plant left, it just looks like the buds are sprouting or growing more @ 8.5 weeks
