Hey guys I am on my first grow and I always here about how new growth is just through threw the roof. I have a 400 mh about 12-15" first week I got the light set-up plants just exploded upwards. I think in about a week they grew anywhere from 3-5". Now plants have slowed down.

My question is how much growth is considered a good amount over a week time span?

check out the grow its down in my sig there if you want some more info.

Every strain is different sir. So every strain may experience different growth spurts or completely different growth patterns all together. I looked at your plants...they are nice and sexy. Keep up the hard work. I noticed the nodes where rather far apart...maybe move those lights a little closer? May just be the strain.

P.S. If you grow her right...your gonna LOVE that Sensi Star...such an amazing strain.

my thoughts exactally, vertical growth isnt always a good thing, weak stems, plants grow too tall etc.

get the light nice and close, this will encourage them to grow short and stocky because they arnt having to grow tall to reach the light. you will get some right bushy plants this way.

just a note tho mate, i got to 4 weeks then had to LST to make the most of my light as my canopy grew so thick.

I hear SS is a great looking strain and a great smoke too. I am checking on the height right now. Im sure it is closer since it has not been moved in the past week maybe. Now that I think about it, light should have to be moved every couple of days??
