It is alot of work indeed. I wouldnt recomend hydroponics for beginners. I dont even mess with it yet. I want to learn to grow in soil first hehe, That way i have some exp. when i switch to hyro.
only reason i havent tried it yet is because iv read that your plants cant die within hours if they dont get the regularly schedualed watering
dont forget about the money involved for set up.

well last thing i want to get out my chest,Cant i just germinize a seed,plant it,let it grow like 1 week or 2 week old.switch it to a hydroponic system and just give it its food and light n darkness?

Naw, if you start in dirt you have to grow in dirt. the grow medium for hydro is radically different from soil.

I recommend using Cold Cathode tubes like I'm using. I'm getting positive results from this type of light. Anyway, I recommend looking at my newest post and see for yourself :wink:
