Are you from the states? Hey man you gotta keep on keepin on ... Lifes a garden grow some pot! .. I mean dig it! lol Well it seems as if you are going about it the right way and have your head on straight if at 19 you're thinkin about retirementNo clue how I'm over qualified. I honestly it's just a nicer way of saying " we don't need you" and I do the best work I can, and I think people are satisfied with it. I know a lot because in my home when I was a kid, I was the only one who did anything around the house m brothers and sisters sat on their asses. I can basically do anything I just figure some money's better then no money and it pays what I need paid so it works out decent I guess. I just wish I could get a job so I can build up retirement lol. I know it's a long ways away but I still think of it when I'm an old guy and can't work at all I'm going to need it. I never give up I fill out applications daily. If I see the same place hiring that I already applied for some time ago, I'll apply again. Number one thing is not to give up and keep lookin
lol this is totally off topic

Do you qualify to get any grants? Schools gonna be your best option. Get a degree or a trade. If I had it to do over again I would have gone with Paint & Body. I love fixing up cars. Even if you're broke Tech schools arent that expensive and most of them arent that long of courses. If you dont qualify for a grant, maybe you could take out a loan. I think my schooling cost like 5 or 7 grand. Luckily im part Cherokee Indian, so my tribe paid for some of my schooling. But either way compared to what plumbers and electricians make ( maybe even welding? ) the 5 or 7 grand for schooling is totally worth it. My friend who got a loan for college ended up dropping out, but he still has to pay for his loans obviously. Its like $26 dollars a month. Usually when school is involved they will work with you on a payment plan. Dont bust your ass for minimum wage until you retire. Bouncing around from 1 job to the next. Get you an education. Get you some job security. With that will come peace of mind. There will always be sick people and broke cars. Thats why I chose the Med Field. I have a whole department to myself and Ive literally watched football all day long on the clock. I sound such like an old man and Im 26, but old timers are wise my man. If they talk listen. I took a lot for granite, and just brushed off a lot of the things they told me as I was growing up. I just thought they were talking to be talking. The further I get into my life the more I realize how UN-full of shit they were haha
