New herb grinder...

I have this one, all aluminum (no powder coat). Totally awesome except now the crank arm is spinning on itself. Had to drill out the screw and re-fasten. I have to admit, though, I've put some intense buds in there and that was the issue.

The Space Case doesn't break at least not the model I have, LOL. I don't think I'd want one with a kief catcher or a crank that could break. Here's my Space Case. I've dropped it many times onto an unfriendly tile floor ;) that's my C99 still clinging on oops!

This is the one I had purchased myself. The crank type was a gift (lucky me!). The only issue I have with this one is that it is hard to turn because it is a bit stout. Makes some really waxy goodness in those nooks and crannies after a while as compensation :)

I want a good one and the price is not the issue so much. I don't want pieces, shavings, particles of the grinder to get in the pot. Is that the medium size one, Annie?

Mine is a dime store purchase, works well enough since I'm usually just grinding enough for myself.

The morning ritual, here's today's contribution :bigjoint:

I should have clarified
The original space case is aluminum and to me seemed no different than any other grinder.. http://www.spacegrinders.com/space-case-4-pc-grinder-large/
I assume people bought a bunch and later came out with the newer ti anodized coated version..lifetime warranty is a plus.
Any of y'all know how well that coating actually stands up? Its not designed to protect from wear but corrosion
I'm not hating on it just to be clear! Just curious about it, never heard of em and the website doesn't really highlight anything but the ti..just figuring how they justify cost..the lifetime warranty is pretty cool

The store where I got mine has a nice little corner set aside for all the "smoking" accessories, he has 3-4ft bongs with normal sized ones, scales, glass & metal pipes, about 35 different flavoured papers, hooka's and this is a corner store mind you. So if I needed I could get my milk, eggs and bacon along with my papers, pipe etc.

That's a whole other level of convenience store! *Heh, a corner store with no squares :)
