Also, you'll want to extend your ducting to exhaust the air outside your attic. You'll get all sorts of humidity problems up there, like mold.
Spinning vent on roof to remove attic space heat, i guess i just got to wait til winter before i trial the 2nd 600, ac is not an option at this stage. Appreciate your input

The heat isn’t the problem in the attic it’s the humidity your pumping in it’s bad for the attic and you will get mold

Its really tough to vent 2 600w without having two air-sealed hoods, and a dedicated intake, coming from outside your house. Having your lamps isolated from the environment makes a huge difference. Thats how I had mine, until I went to led. I had a 6" fan keeping a 1k and 600w cool, and with no effort. My intake came from the crawl space under the house, and vented into the attic. Mind you, this was air that came from outside, then went into the attic, with no added humidity from the plants in the room. Thats why it was okay to exhaust the hood air into to attic, as opposed to exhausting humid air from the grow space.

Do you have a sealed hood?

No sealed hood, from what I've been advised I think I'll just keep with the 1x600, its working for now, will look at investing in a larger exhaust fan and sealed hood/hoods for the next grow.

Fwiw I'd also stick with a single 600w, it's a decent size and reasonably easy to maintain Temps with.

For future if noise is a problem, it's worth buying a bigger fan than you need then turn it down with a speed controller or variac, it gives you plenty air flow with very little fan/air noise.

Getting a nice canopy going,

Not my first grow but first post here!
Cheers
Nice canopy lol. Garbage nutrients for soil. Switch to organics and you’ll be 100000000000000000x happier! Easier and cheaper. No PH, no mixing feeding solutions. No nothing. Get worm castings, organic compost and some organic dry fertilizer. Water with plain water and you’ll have much better growth.

So if you’re doing a 15g pot, you can do roughly 35 of soil, 8l of compost, 8 of worm castings, 5l of perlite and half cup of dry amendments. Use clean water like RO water or filtered water. No ph needed and it’ll be good to go
